IMy guess is that the large widths would be rather unwieldy. Personally, I use the Red Devil 2" Plastic Putty Knives to clean the inside of my (cold) grill and they work exceptionally well. I see no reason why less expensive equivalents would not work just as well but I've gotten spoiled. **Q: How “thick” are the blades?
