I thought of buying a good chess board from past 6 months and finally bought one during the epidemic to engage my kid with the brain games. This chess board is part of our daily activity from past 15 days and my kid loves it very well. It has 3 games in built with all the required items. I am mainly interested in the chess. The board has good magnetic pieces and is good to play in the drive as well. The board is sturdy enough and can hold all the pieces when not using, so no worry on loosing the pieces. The chess board is having the fine aluminum on top of the wood. So far its very durable and will see how long it will survive with the kids. Definitely recommends it.

My kids love chess. I have bought other chess boards for them before but the magnetic chess boards I bought previously were either poor quality, flimsy plastic or too tiny. We absolutely love this magnetic chess board. Pros: Good quality sturdy plastic pieces with a decent size Strong magnet. The pieces won't fall off even if you turn the board upside down. Can play chess anywhere (in the car, on the sofa) without the pieces falling off Cons: I can't think of any yet.

Ordered on a Friday afternoon, arrived on Saturday morning, and I am not a PRIME member. First impressions, checker/backgammon pieces are somewhat thin and cheap, but the magnets hold the pieces to the board. The chess pieces are great. I assume that they are molded, but there are no casting marks. They also feel solid not hollow. The board is okay. Time will tell if the hinges and snaps will hold up to multiple uses. The Directions are the worst. I recommend that you download game instruction off the internet if you do not already know how to play these games.

I bought this for my son, and he really loves it- we all do! It's good quality, study, with quality pieces that have good felt on the bottom and have good strong magnets. The inside and outside of the board both hold the pieces well- enough that you can hold the board upside down and they will stay on quite well. The dice are not magnetic, for obvious reasons. ☺️ All the pieces fit inside, and the board snaps securely together for storage. (The bags in my picture don't come with it, I just put the pieces in sandwich bags.) It's just a very neat and handy chess set that you will enjoy!

My boys LOVE this board to play all 3 games! Originally bought it for Chess but also got my son learning backgammon because the set also included the board to that game. Since the pieces are magnetic, it helps keep the pieces on the board and less likely to lose. One slight downfall is it is quite snug to keep all the pieces in when you fold the board to close it. However if you arrange the pieces just right, you will eventually manage to close the board tight.

Product was good but when they shipped it out the first pack was empty. Requested another and that was good.

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas because he has just started getting into Chess and joined a Chess club. My husband saw it and decided I needed to order one to keep at our house also. It is nice that it stores all the pieces so they do not get lost and the the board is not flimsy and holds up well to all the use it is getting. I would recommend

Decent beginner set with magnetic pieces. We bought this to start teaching some of these classic board games to our 5 year old. Pros: Magnetic pieces & board Self-contained (can store pieces in the board) Cons: Very small board and pieces (12") Pieces are pretty cheap feeling, lightweight and plastic
