Exactly what I needed. Fits perfectly

Perfect strainer for a 1 1/2" pvc pipe.
Modified my rain gutter drain with 1 1/2" pvc pipes and plug this strainer at the end to deter rodents accessing a path to my roof and it is a perfect strainer for the application. Also if it ever gets clogged, I can just pull it off and clear the debris.

Well constructed
What can I say? Itโs black and it strains water.

Is the same OD as 1.5โ Pipe
This product is advertised as 1.5โ slip fitting, it is a male 1.5โ fitting on the end. You will need a coupler to connect it to 1.5โ plumbing

and it worked fine.
had oddball use, so it worked. was not threaded and did not match pvc sizing to glue. I used a SS repair band to connect it, and it worked fine.

Works
A thing to note is this is the same size as pipe. So if you're going in a fitting, you'll be fine. Otherwise you'll need a coupler. I have a 1" pipe and went with a larger strainer and used a reducing coupler. It gives more screen area as I've had them clog before and wanted more surface area. So far, no issues at all.

Not true 1 1/2 size
Ordered 1 1/2 screen thatโs suppose to fit inside a 1 1/12 fitting. This is to big to fit inside the fitting and to small for a pipe to slide over. If your needing exact fit like I did donโt waste your money or time.
