This is a beautiful clock, keeps perfect time, I don’t hear any ticking, and the sound quality and options for chime melodies are outstanding. You can adjust the volume or turn the chime off if you prefer. It also has a setting to turn the chime off from 11:00 pm - 5:45 am. It chimes every hour (unless you opt for “off” or off from the preset 11:00 -5:45 period at night). It’s easy to set, but read and follow the instructions carefully or the chime won’t match the time. Comes with batteries (uninstalled) and you have to hang the pendulum (packed separately in the box).It’s the perfect size, not too large, not too small. You can easily see the time from across the room. The photo doesn’t do it justice, it does look slightly smaller in my video than it actually is because of my extra large mantel. Ignore the reflection from my TV in the video.
