I wanted to voice control my bedroom lamps at night and this was the perfect solution. I had a smart outlet already installed in my bedroom and it was more expensive and required an electrician to install and not all my outlets where compatible as far as wiring goes. This was an easy inexpensive route that was quick. I literally pulled it out the box plugged it in then plugged in my lamp pressed the button on the side to pair it to the app then to Alexa I was voice controlling my lights within 10 min or less.

Nice, simple smart plug that works with Tuyu, but there's no toggle option to use with routines, which is disappointing.

Directions or a little confusing but it’s a great product

I have a bunch of similar plugs I bought years ago and use the SmartLife app. I needed a few more and bought another brand but they weren't compatible with the same app. I honestly don't need anymore apps in my life so I got these and I can set them up with the same app and they integrate with Google Home or Alexa which is key.

Love these . We use them for Christmas lights . It is nice to be able to cut everything off at once .

Relatively simple process to set up, though I had a few teething problems at first (but the problem was likely down to lack of wifi strength and not an issue with the plug). But once set up, the app is simple to use and the plugs are super dependable. All in all, a good experience and a nice addition to the smart home

I had so much trouble installing these things!! The instructions are lacking info. They were really finicky. The app is terrible!! It's such a crowded mess of advertisements and if I'm away from my home wifi, the app will tell me that lights are on when they're not, and that they are off when they're actually on. This created a massive problem when I went out of town for 8 days. I was completely unable to tell if my lights were on when they needed to be. This is a huge issue because 3 are grow lights for plants and 1 is a really important light for a reptile. I absolutely NEED them to work properly. Customer service was great at getting back to me, but mostly tried to tell me that I had the wrong time zone set over and over and over. I did not. It was set correctly and I was still in the same time zone when I traveled. While I'm at home, they work just fine.Edited to add: They do not work fine while I'm at home either, it turns out. Days after posting this review, the plug I use for my reptile light stopped working properly. It is no longer turning on & off when it's supposed to, completely out of nowhere. I didn't change anything, it's just random.

This isn't my first Gosund product so getting it setup and linked up with Alexa was a cake walk. You have to make sure you read the instructions and you shouldn't have a problem with setting it all up. The smartplugs work as expected and having owned products from this brand before, I expect them to last a good time. As you can see in one of the pictures, you won't be able to fit two of these next to each other on a standard outlet, Gosund has another product that is designed for that use case so check it out if that's what you need. Overall, I'm very happy with these smartplugs and their price was also great so that a big plus

There is a trick to setting these up. Follow instructions below…1. Do NOT use their app2. Use the app Smart Life3. Reset your modem by un-plugging it for 20 seconds, then plug in again.4. Use Smart Life app to set up5. If this doesn’t work, make sure your modem is on 2.4gz. Then try again.

It works well once you've got it set up, but the app initially wouldn't take my password, even though it met their criteria. It did allow set up via a Facebook login, but then once I tried to link Alexa it required a password for the app, so I had to go in to the account settings for the app and establish one that way - and it did finally work. Which for a non-technical person was way too many steps.

This will teach me not to buy things that haven't been reviewed. Spent an entire afternoon trying to get these to sync. Nothing. Today came back and saw someone had the same problem, though apparently they finally got theirs to after many tries. I refuse to spend more than 3 hours trying to get this crap to work.

It's not automated for the timer. You have to do it manually and daily. I tried setting it up with the Gosund app but it does not work. When you set the timer for 6 hours, your only option is 0600 which means 6 am for the next day.
