This has totally changed my summer work
Summers are sometimes unbearable. They mark the beginning of very high temperatures during day and night. It makes the perfect time to draw out the fans to help reduce the temperatures, especially in sunny areas like Oklahoma, where you can get a good amount of sun without getting roasted if you have an excellent cooling companion. Previously, most fans I used were noisy, which can be annoying, especially when you want to focus on work or sleep. However, this changed after buying the Dreo Pilot Max tower fan, which is essentially noiseless. I got to use it in every part of the house, including the bedroom, even while the baby was asleep. It makes no sound whatsoever; I was curious how quiet it was compared to my previous fan, then I found out that the noise level on this floor fan reached 25 dB! Nowhere near my other fans with noise levels of 54 dB+. If you want to work your way to a fresh summer, you’ll not be disappointed with this purchase. During these hot days, as I am working in my home office, I could barely function for 6 hours straight before changing a T-shirt, vest, or getting something to cool me down. I would always waste much time because of this, which turned out to affect my family time. Pilot max allowed me to make up for so much wasted time. With it in my office, I could get things done without uncomfortable distractions, even not moving from my chair for hours at a time. I forgot about sweat and noise; I just set my tower fan to the sea breeze fan speed, which is excellent and very soothing, creating a perfect environment for work. Additionally, it can be easily controlled without even moving from my desk. This has also made my job easier since I do not have to keep on standing. Pilot Max’s design is a real piece of art. It gives my office an elegant and stylish look. Just by looking at it, I can unwind a stressful morning and set my mind calm and ready to work. The metallic finish keeps my office space sleek and gives it a futuristic appearance. It has since become the center of attraction in my office, with many of my colleagues seeking more information about it during online meetings. I’ve even received comments on how my office space looks fantastic and vibrant for the first time. This lifts my mood to continue working smart and keep up with the technological developments, especially on home gadgets. As I explain to them that it is a tower fan that they can easily purchase from Dreo, they are amazed since it is affordable despite having a luxurious look. For the first time in summer, my energy bill went down. I try to minimize the electricity bills at my office since the gadgets I use are primarily non-energy consuming. Previously with other fans, the amount of energy consumed was embarrassing, and it would go up and up because I was forced to use both A/C and fan together at max capacity. But with Pilot Max, my AC wasn’t needed anymore, only in seldom heat spikes; the A/C would boost cooling a little. At first, I couldn’t believe how it could give cooling breezes at a much lower cost. I have been amazed by it since, as someone in business, I strive to reduce expenses to the very minimum to increase our revenues, and I always struggle between choosing comfort or lowering costs. Its ability to transform the high temperatures within my office and save energy makes it the best tower fan ever. Portability is one of the great things made on this fan. I can place it as far as 26 ft., and I can still feel the air cooling within a second. Pilot Max has a potent brushless DC motor. This gives it the power to reach higher wind speeds than most tower fans. This isn’t just a regular floor fan; it is a cooling powerhouse; it comes with an outstanding impeller wheel extended beyond conventional tower fans measures, allowing air to move smoothly and proportionately in the office. That design gives maximum airflow from the fan with no limits or resistance. The size of the impeller wheel also contributes to the quietness experienced in this tower fan. When I am doing some changes in the office with Pilot Max, I do not have to worry about angling. It has a 120° ultra-wide-angle, allowing the whole office to receive cool air regardless of where it is placed. It makes the environment comfortable even when I am with visitors or family members within my office. Interestingly, the angle can be adjusted according to your needs. For example, when I am concentrated in a particular place in my office, I change it to 90°, circulating air smoothly while I work. This also allows me to share with my family members, who are sometimes helping with my work at the office. All these adjustments are highly convenient since Pilot Max utilizes a remote. Like you can change a TV channel at the comfort of your seat, the adjustments for this tower fan are also made using a remote that operates as far as 29ft. This has made work easier for me; I do not have to keep getting up to make adjustments. And it’s so easy to use that I am able to teach my family members how to operate the fan without facing difficulties since they are well familiar with the use of a remote. The assembly was a no-brainer; to be honest, I was worried about messing it up when putting it together. Personally am not good with fixing items involving screws. But when I purchased it, the manual gave a few easy steps that I followed. It just took me a few clicks here and there to get it all done. Similarly, cleaning it was a delight due to the removable grill, which makes cleaning it not only possible but a piece of cake. Once the fan is on, the auto mode quickly adapts to the room temperature on installation and begins to cool it off. Also, unlike other tower fans with auto power-off of about six hours, the Pilot Max tower fan enables us to enjoy up to 12 hours of power even in sleep mode. I have used various fans before, but after purchasing the Pilot Max, the need for newer fans came to a stop. I finally found a tower fan that best fits my need in both my office and even in my household. Pilot Max has changed my summers; hence I can work continuously regardless of the season. It has excellent technologically advanced features to benefit us, the users. You can tell it is a cooling fan made with real cooling needs in mind.

Your search is over…
I don’t always leave reviews but thought it necessary to save people the brain damage I put into searching for a decent fan. I’m not very trusting when it comes to reviews but read enough to pull the trigger on this Dreo. I put it together in 2 minutes. Sleek silver and black design. 12 speeds with a decent remote. Very very powerful and very quiet up to the 10th speed. Still pretty quiet on 11-12 considering it feels like a 10 mph gust of wind. Seriously. It wouldn’t even be necessary to put it that high in a pretty big room. Great distance. It would reach you at 25-30 feet on 10. I’m feeling it nicely on 3 from 8 feet and can’t even hear it. I bought a Dyson based on the name, cool design, and supposed quiet function that I’m packing up to return. It was beautiful but way too loud even at mid-speed and it wasn’t nearly as powerful. I don’t know how it’s got a reputation of being quiet. This Dreo is at least twice as powerful with half the noise and at half the price. Sorry Dyson- I don’t like to bash companies but you’re way overmatched here. I generally hate fans but I’m living without AC in NY humidity. They always feel like they’re just blowing hot air on you. This oddly feels like cold air. I’ve never experienced that with a fan. Trust me people - you’ll be happy with this one. Functions well. Solid build. By far the best tower fan I’ve ever owned.

Should you get the Dreo tower or circulator fan?
When you think of a tower fan, you typically think it's just a tall thin, more stylish fan that can't compete airflow wise compared to a standard large noisy floor fan. This fan exceeded my expectations. It is a lot more powerful than any other tower fan I've come across and it's relatively quiet even on its max setting compared to a traditional fan. But my favorite part is when you are sleeping you can put it at 6 or 7 for the fan speed and it's whisper quiet and you still feel the fan. So if you don't want to have to sacrifice quietness or the ability to feel the fan, you don't have to. This fan definitely eliminates that issue. The fan is a smart fan, so you are able to customize the settings through the easy to use phone app. You can even link it to your Google account routines so it can auto turn on at a set time and turn off at a set time which is convenient for those who are on a sleep schedule. A few people have mentioned that the fan auto shuts off in the middle of the night? I know you can set an auto off timer through the app, but personally I've never experienced it. But that's also why I have Google turn the fan on and off automatically so I don't have to worry about it. If you want to be extra safe you can always turn the fan off before going to bed and turn it back on to reset the internal run time timer and you shouldn't have any issues. Again, it's never auto turned off on me unless I have it scheduled to do so. I purchased the gold version of the fan and I highly recommend dishing out the extra money because it adds a bit of style to the fan. But other than being aesthetically pleasing, there are no other additional benefits than the color. The fan has many different modes. Sleep mode makes the fan quieter, turbo makes the fan stronger than the normal speed, natural mode will make the speed fluctuate to give you an out door breeze feel... and normal mode is just normal. I've heard people mention that the fan is noisy or makes a rattle sound after a few uses.. im pretty confident they must've been aggressive with the fan or dropped it because I personally haven't experienced any issues like that. One thing I want to mention though, the grill on the front, isn't the entire size of the fans vent. The bottom area is where the motor is and so that portion of the grill has no air flow and its just part of the design. I set my fan on 9, which is pretty powerful and relatively quiet and I just place it next to my bed. It really helps with being able to lower the ac in the summer, especially where I live which is well over 100 degrees all summer long. I also set it on a box so it's tall enough to where none of the fans vents are being blocked by the mattress. But it's not necessary, the fan works fine at a further distance, I just personally enjoy a more cooler sleeping environment and wind blowing in my face. If you are someone who's on the fence of buying this or a dyson fan... I was that person.. but for less than the cost of a dyson fan I bought the dreo tower fan and the air circulator fan for much less than a dyson fan and still saved enough money from the difference to be able to purchase the dreo hepa air purifier... and the dyson fan was weak and was very noisy, sounded like a blow dryer running all night. The only hard debate there is, do you buy the dreo circulator fan or the tower fan? Both do an excellent job and both are quiet. The key difference though is the design and the functionality. Do you want the most quietest fan that gives the right amount of power? Then get the tower fan. If you want extra power for those hotter than normal days and you don't care about the quietness because you are rhe type who can sleep through a hurricane, then get the circulator fan. I am both of those people so I bought both and my electric company is thanking me because my bill has significantly dropped since using both. And one last thing to note, the circulator fan does have a feature in the app where you can guide the fan to a certain direction, you can move it with a virtual d pad to move it left, right, up or down. Which is a super convenient feature when you don't want to constantly get up to manually move the fan, this feature is only available on the circulator fan, the tower fan does not give you that option. And if you don't want to go through your Google settings to set a scheduled automation, the tower fan has the schedules on off feature on the app, but the circulator fan does not have that option! That is why I linked both fans to my Google routines and created a routine to turn them both on and off at a set time. And whatever speed setting and mode you left the fan at, is the setting it will be on when the fans turn back on. It's nice that it saves those settings and you don't have to reconfigure it every time you turn the fans on. I hope this extremely long review helped you decide which is best for you. :)

I need 5 more stars, please!!
This fan is hands down ten stars... best I've ever owned and worth every penny!! So quiet I only needed to turn the TV volume up one click when the fan is at the highest speed... other than that, it doesn't interfere with anything. I have no air conditioning and it's the 'dog days' of summer. I sit about 12 feet away from where the fan is and at that distance I feel it like a light, cool breeze from speed 6-8 and higher than that, it's like I'm sitting a foot or two away from it. From speeds 10-12 it feels like it is an inch away. The area of the tower where the air comes out is perfect placement so it isn't wasted on floor and couch beneath me. The remote is simple and easy to use. The Dreo app installs easily, found the fan right away and made the wi-fi connection easily. I love the ability to turn the fan on and off remotely to start cooling down the room before I get home! The app even recognized that I have the Alexa app and automatically brought me to a screen to add the fan to my voice controls so now I can tell Alexa to turn my fan on/off, to a specific number, etc. There's a timer function if you want to save energy and have it turn off after you fall asleep. The lighted display even turns off automatically at night so it won't keep you awake (not that it's bright, but still a very nice feature)! This is my third Dreo product and I'll be a loyal customer singing their praises from the rooftop. The quality and durability of their products is reliable and the safety and convenience features are well thought out. This fan is a great gift for yourself or someone else!!

Works Good with Only Two Noticeable Caveats!
It's a great addition to my bedroom and I love its size! It's ALMOST perfect! But the keyword here being: ALMOST! I've noticed two caveats in particular which I feel is worth noting to future potential buyers of this product! That being that one: If you have ANY other electronic device nearby (like in my case a tower heater) that also uses a remote for power on/off, there's a chance it'll still somehow turn on the fan as well! I have a mini-tower heater and the fan relatively near each other, and whenever I turn on/off the heater, the fan ALWAYS triggers without fail as well! Can be a bit annoying at times but it's a minor inconvenience at best! The other caveat being: It always ONLY turns in one direction. To the right. I don't know if it's meant to do either of these two things, or maybe I got a slightly defective unit, but everytime I use the oscillating function of the tower fan, it always ONLY turns to the right. NEVER to the left. And there's no way to change that. Which also makes it a minor inconvenience if the tower fan is not facing the direction it's supposed to. In the end, I end up having to wait all the way until it reaches the maximum left it can go when oscillating, before it then finally turns to the left by itself. Pushing the button on the remote multiple times just stops it or makes it keep going right, without letting it go left ever. Like I said, it's just another minor inconvenience thing but it makes you ensure that you have the fan facing the right direction from the get go, or else you'll be waiting for like a minute or so while it does its rounds again to get back to your ideal position. Then you better push the button on the fan or on the remote quickly, or else you'll miss the mark and have to wait again. It is for these two caveats that I have docked the unit a star. However, it's still quite the nice device, looks sleek, and isn't very loud at all. At least not louder than you'd expect a regular fan to be anyways. Oh yeah, and its 12 fan speeds are brilliant! I love keeping it in the 10 - 12 range when it gets really hot in the bedroom! I am hoping I won't need an AC this year thanks to this fan! And not only that, but the tower fan was also very easy to put together as well! So you'll find no complaints from me there! And I love all the different features and settings it has as well! Yes, truly, if not for those two caveats, this unit would be 5 star worthy to me easily! But alas, it just isn't meant to be, unfortunately. Ah well, that's all for my review. Hope this review helps someone out there! Have a nice day!

Great Design
This was the replacement fan for my old Honeywell fan which recently started to get noisy. Before purchasing the Dreo I did some research about various tower fans. Early in my research some things about the Dreo stood out, and after receiving the fan it lead me to conclude that the designer(s) of this product were talented and understood what things were important. I believe the price is also very good for what you get. Pros: 1. One of the most important things to me is the ability to remove the back grill and to vacuum the blades. My previous fan didn’t have this feature and allowed lots of dust to accumulate on the blades, which are very difficult to fully clean, if at all. I haven’t had the fan long enough to clean the blades, but probably will use a vacuum brush attachment. 2. The wide oscillation, and ability to control the oscillation angle was a good upgrade, and now I no longer have to adjust the fan when I move to a different part of the room. 3. The granularity of the fan speed from 1-12 is very important and much better than my previous fan which only had 3 speeds, because it allows me to find just the right speed. My previous fan was often too cool for my taste even at the lowest setting. An important thing that I discovered after using this fan is how important this feature truly is, because I found that a slight variation in fan speed can make a huge difference in creating a very pleasant climate, somewhat reminding me of going to the beach or those days when the weather is just right and makes things become very pleasant and memorable, which now I can more or less artificially create at home. This has greatly improved my relaxation and happiness during the day, as well as at night, allowing me to have very deep sleep and wake up well rested and relaxed. What works best for me in this regard is to turn off oscillation and point the fan directly towards me and find just the right speed setting. I would say this is probably one of the most valuable features of the fan. 4. Ability to control with app and Google Assistant is a huge plus. Now I can control the fan without getting out of bed. Initially Google Assistant required me to unlock the phone whenever i wanted to control the fan with it, but there’s a setting that allows it to control the fan without having to unlock the phone. 5. Other details, such as ability to control the brightness of the display, or to turn off the beeping sound, although I don’t use either of them, are to me a sign of the thoughtfulness that went into the design of this fan. 6. Small remote control is nice and seems to work well. A possible improvement might be to make the buttons glow in the dark. 7. Touch controls on top of fan seem good. 8. Modern aesthetics and bright and gentle silver color looks nice. 9. 2023 upgraded model is very new at the time of this writing, and has so far received very positive reviews. 10. By registering the product I was able to extend the warranty to 5 years. Potential Cons: 1. 2023 upgraded model might not be fully tried and tested, so remains to be seen how successful it will be in the long term. Overall this seems like a very good fan, with lots of thoughtfulness and talent going into the design, and seems to be a great value for the money. Free extended warranty gives me extra assurance.

Smart Home Staple
Let me preface this review by saying I am not in ANY way being compensated or given any coupons or anything of that nature for writing this review. I got the WiFi edition of this product after trying a few different types of WiFi/IoT fans, (Holmes and Lasko both had adequate control but weak air-flow). I have a pretty robust smart home setup, and as I naturally overheat while sleeping and just in general, a good strong fan is very important to me. I was not excited that the WiFi version of this fan was not available for Prime and the pro version was certainly more expensive, but after watching some reviews I decided it looked strong enough and was worth a try. I can now say confidently, after having this fan for a few months, that I absolutely made the right choice. The 12 speed control is incredible, the highest speed is comparable to my very strong "Lasko: Wind Machine" fan in a much more convenient form factor. The Sleep and Natural modes are great for a nice breeze while sleeping if you want some variation. The smart home control works brilliantly, and if you make sure to read all the possible commands in the Dreo app, you can do so much using your smart home device (in my case Google home). the 120° oscillation works like a dream and can also be adjusted using voice control. My girlfriend loves it as it comes with a remote as well so if she doesn't want to deal with using the smart home devices to adjust the settings at night, she can do so with the remote. The noise levels are pretty good considering the power of the fan, I wouldn't expect it to be much quieter for a fan with blades. All-in-all a really really great product that I have not had any regrets about purchasing, there is a decent chance that I will buy this or other Dreo fans again after this experience. The only cons to mention are that I typically don't love smart home products with a whole separate app, but in this case I have to say, it still doesn't bother me a ton as the app is well designed and provides a lot of good features. Plus, linking it to my google home is a breeze, I am definitely a fan. (puns very much intended). TLDR; If you're on the fence about this fan, WiFi or remote, and want a good strong fan. This is a great choice. If you are looking for a good smart home fan, this is a great choice. If you're looking for something not too tall and not too expensive, it may be worth it to look elsewhere, but you would still probably like this fan.

Compact, Quiet or Loud (Preference), Versatility, Lightweight
I wasn't sure about this fan as I'm not really the foremost authority on tower fans as this is the first tower fan I've ever owned. Nothing can beat the silence of a Dyson Tower fan (which I used at my brothers when I stayed over a night), but despite that, this fan is still very nice, and much more affordable! It takes up very little room with how compact it is, and depending on the fan speeds, you can set how quiet or loud you want it to be. It comes with 12 fan speeds, 1-6 is fairly quiet, making little noise. 7-9, it gets a bit louder, definitely noticeable. And at around 10-12 its a white noise generator. As someone who likes a little white noise when they sleep, I use 7 for the most part. The 4 modes it comes with are very cool and interesting. The first mode is Simply "Normal" mode. Your basic, "I'll blow wind at the set speed in this direction." Mode. The second mode is "Natural" mode. Which simulates being outdoors! The fan speed is the baseline speed you want to have, but randomly, at select intervals, the fan will reduce or increase speed automatically to simulate the wind slowing down, or gusting up, as if you were outside! The third mode is "Sleep" mode. You can turn this on before going to bed. It sets the fan speeds a bit lower at their baselines, for a calmer, more soft blow of wind. It also disables the fan feedback sounds, so it won't beep at you when it powers on or shuts off. And the fourth and last mode, "Auto" which detects the ambient temperature within the room and automatically adjusts fan speeds to keep the room temperature at a comfortable level, hands free! The fan oscillates as well, with selectable oscillating angles of 30°, 60°, 90°, or 120° angles that you can select of your own accord. As far as I know, this is not automated, you'll have to manually select the angles yourself. And finally, you can also set a timer on how long you want the fan to operate. After the timer runs out, the fan will automatically shut down until the next time you manually turn it on again, a great option for those concerned about electricity bills or whatnot! In summary, this fan is quite genuinely surprising, I wasn't expecting much but was surprised with how well it actually works, as well as the level of options for different scenarios. Solid 5/5 for me! I love this fan!

One of the best purchases I ever made
Worth every penny, a really good fan and is bang for the buck. Is extremely silent as advertised and even at max speed, it’s not loud enough to disturb you. At max speed the sound is equivalent of 2 people talking (but it doesn’t disturb the conversation). And at lower levels can get really quite like almost a whisper maybe. The natural mode is really good as it feels like natural wind flowing with speed randomly increasing or decreasing like it actually does outdoors. Haven’t tried sleep mode yet, but auto and windy mode both are good. App access is very easy to setup, remote is responsive, works really well with my Alexa Echo. Not too heavy either so easy enough to move around as well. Although the 120° oscillation covers almost entire room so it won’t need to be moved frequently. Best part is, you can select between 30, 60, 90 and 120° oscillation which i found really helpful since i can set it based on how many people are in the room and how far from each other are they sitting.
