I have had this over a year now and use it in an outside water fountain that I am not always good at maintaining. I go months without cleaning the base and am known to allow it to run dry now and then. None of it bothers this pump. I've paid much more for them. None as good as this one. Every time I think I've fried it, it proves me wrong. I unplug it for a quick sec and it kicks back in as good as ever. If clogged, I add a few drops of algae killer and it cleans itself.

Not sure what else is out there, but this thing is awesome because it can come apart and you can clean it very easily. My only problem is that it has issues getting the water flowing sometimes for no reason. Not sure if it's so faulty unit or what, but water flow is very important. But AC infinity has been nothing but beautiful and to its customers. I would go with these people over anybody else in a heartbeat. You look good doing it

It's nice. Works well. Fit and finish is good! I use these for my mixing nutrients. Then use the next size bigger for my reservoir. Keeps the water from getting stagnant.

Perfect flow to keep the water moving through 1" bulkheads and PVC without making a sound. It does slightly produce heat in the system but not enough to complain about. So far it's another great ac infinity product. We shall see how long it lasts. Way to go AC Infinity now we need the hydro sensor please I'd love to not have to buy another companies but it's getting hard to wait. A++ water pump.

This is like the fourth small pump I've tried. Seems to be working and lasted longer than the others.

Stopped working in less than a month! Don’t buy.

Love this pump as it is very quiet.

This pump is perfect for a small aquarium, but it's too small for a pond or a fountain. It's powerful, and moves water easily, but it's not suited for an outdoor pond. It's very small, and it doesn't have a good filter for leaves or other debris. I tried it in my pond, and it got clogged almost instantly. Also, it was not powerful enough to pump water to the small waterfall in my pond, so I had to go with a bigger pump. I don't have an aquarium to test it in, but based on its size, it appears to be ideal for a smaller aquarium.
