no more taping dies to the cutting plate. this platform magnet is strong and the dies DO NOT MOVE. That is what I wanted and needed. This cutting platform is a total game changer for my paper crafts.

Nice for most uses
I really like this magnetic board, the only drawback is that it shifts your dies around sometimes making it difficult to get the results you want.

Wrong size
My husband bough me a big shot for Christmas but bough the big shot plus magnetic platform so I can not use it. Unfortunately We where in the process of moving and it go packed away until just today. Way pas the return window.

I have the original big shot and I LOVE IT! Some of the companies have come out with bigger dies, I went again with big shots. This is the best magnetic mat out there.

Verify your model
Make sure this fits your machine. The first one I bought was for a different model. Husband error. But this worked fine.

Makes die cutting so much easier
If you have thin dies that need to be run through your machine more than once, this platform is a wonderful aid. I was using tape made for this purpose but it would always stick to the paper. This is so much better and easier to use. I love it.

Ces plaques sont faites pour la machine du même nom attention à la taille car ma plaque et donc la machine sont grandes je pense qu’il y’a d autre taille pour s adapté au matériel. Je suis étonné du pouvoir de l aiment même avec un plexiglass et du papier ça ne bouge pas c est valide plus de papier adhésif plus de déchirure ok

Waste of money
The idea of a magnetic board was very appealing. Saved up as these don’t come cheap. Money wasted as I still have to tape dies down as they jump around the board and don’t stay where I’ve placed them. Save your money and stick to the normal boards.

Uneven magnetic coverage. Best for 1 or 2 large dies at a time. Tape down small ones as well.
Magnet issues (see below) shouldn't stop you buying this, but let's manage the expectations:This is best for a large die, or two or three large-ish dies at the same time and only if precise positioning isn't required. If you require precision, be on the safe side and fix down die(s) withh temporary adhesive (e.g. washi, micropore), especially if you have many small dies. This is because dies sometimes move, sometimes quite jerkily, sometimes a little distance, as magnetic coverage isn't even throughout the platform. The magnets have minds of their own!Be careful if you pass your 'sandwich' back through the Sizzix and/or to rotate cardstock between passes, in case the dies shift slightly i.e. don't rely solely on the magnets.Overpriced at £59.05. It does save some time, so I'm glad I bought it. You just need to be aware of its quirks (try it out) then you can adapt to it.

1A Funktion und Qualität
Meine Platte funktioniert super. Die Stanzformen bleiben genau da liegen wo ich sie hin tue und das trotz Stanzplatte und Papier zwischen Magnetplatte und Stanzform. Auch durch eine selbstheilende Schneidematte hindurch funktioniert das super gut. Auch die winzigen Stanzformen verrutschen nicht. Oder wie andere es formuliert haben, die Stanzformen springen nicht an andere Stellen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
