Hydrating and they don't sting my eye
Currently suffering with bells palsy and have found these to be the best eye drops I have tried so far for keeping my eye moisturised and not stinging with liberal and repeated use. The vials are convenient for travelling, I only wish they came in a larger bottle too as I mainly use them at home and the plastic waste is unnecessary.

I used to use Aquaiss - they were far superior and Amazon stopped selling them. Wish they'd bring those back. I suffer from dry eyes/blepheritis - and this doesn't cut the mustard.

Problem with closure
The hypromellose solution itself is okay but unlike all other ampoule eyedrop dispensers , this one has no cap structure at the other end of the tab when the tab is twisted off : this means that , even just for one day`s use , the ampoule would need to lie open and that would indeed introduce infection . The instructions are dishonest - they say single use only (which would be extremely expensive over a month ! ) but then , rightly , give a single dose as one drop -- each ampoule , in my experience , has a total of six drops . Also , if not to be used beyond 24 hours , there seems little need to add boric acid , which can be a little bit of an irritant .

Detach one single dose container. Make Sure that each single dose container is intact. To open the single dose container, twist off the flat end (do not pull). Tilt your head back a little, look upward and gently pull the lower eyelid away from the eye and instil one drop in the conjunctival sac of the 3-5 times daily. Close your eyes slowly to allow an even distribution of the liquid on the eye surface.
Safety Warning
Do not use the product if single dose container is damaged. Do not touch the eye with the single dose container. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. For single use only; as AddTear do not contain preservatives, any solution not used immediately after opening, should be discarded. Do not use in infected or injured eyes. Temporary blurring for a brief period may be experienced after application; avoid driving, operating machinery and wait until normal vision is restored. Do not use the eye drops beyond the expiry date which you can find on each single dose container on the folding box. Do not use AddTear beyond the expire date. For external use only.
