Easy to put together, good quality
I actually bought this for my tortoise. He mostly stays outdoors but I bring him in at night and in the winter so I need a small space for him to chill and sleep in my room. This garden bed is perfect and it fits in the corner and separates him from my cats. It’s very cute! Assembly was very easy, it’s very sturdy. I sealed off the bottom.

Very nice looking garden beds with one hint
I just assembled these for my wife's flower garden. They went together really easily. Yeah, it takes a bit of time. But that is to be expected. I did buy lock washers to put on all the bolts. I have read on some reviews for various beds that the nuts and bolts sometimes would loosen up. The package of 32 external tooth 1/4" (6mm) lock washers was only $1.30. It is worth the investment. The beds seem solid. They look really nice. Time will tell for durability. I put an arbor between them for her climbing flowers.

I like 'em fine!
However tedious they are to assemble, I like them just fine. Nice planters at a decent but not great price. Sturdy for the intended use. Pretty color. Easy to assemble. If you hold them up in the air they will wiggle and sway. If you put them on the ground where they belong and place them correctly they are going to be sturdy enough and last quite awhile. I read some of the reviews which said they aren't sturdy and I had a measure of disbelief because of how they appeared to be made and the metal they are made from. I'm glad I doubted those reviewers. Had these planters been longer, rectangular instead of square, they would have needed to be braced in the middle. But they're 2' square and I'm filling them with dirt and flowers. They're not going to bow or blow away. I live in West Texas. We know about stuff blowing away! Shoot, I put these outside today, empty, and the wind didn't carry them a bit. These are a nice shade of green, rather a forest green I'd say. The manufacturer tried to protect the paint by sticking plastic on them. Dang was that an effort to get off! And it didn't protect them very well. There are still a lot of scratches on them. They are painted metal so they will scratch and they will dent. Don't get me started about the environmental impact of the packaging they sent these in! But it's China they're made in, what can you expect. I'm weaning myself off all products not made in the USA. So if you have a problem with plastic and styrofoam, expect to be perturbed by the packaging. I had no problem putting them together at all, aside from my personal physical issues, that is. You will need pliers or a socket or something to hold the nut so you can torque the bolt a bit if you want to. I didn't. It's not as if someone is going to sit there and take the things apart! Hand tightening them is enough. They're not going to vibrate apart, right? Consider though, if you do have arthritis or the like, there are 32 bolts per planter. I bought 2 sets. I need pain killers now! Ugh! The bolts are silver colored so they show up brightly against that pretty green. Looks fine to me but my artist friend wants to paint them green. The pictures in the ad are accurate. Take care handling the metal. It can cut you. I like the little top pieces that are on the corners. The metal could cut you if it weren't for those little bits. I had wondered how the edges of each side were made because of the cutting hazard. But the top and bottom are folded over so the edges are blunted but the sides are not. Be mindful, you'll be fine. I had no problem. I haven't put dirt in them yet so I don't know how well the corners will hold it all in. I don't foresee a problem. They sent along 2 extra nuts and bolts and put them in a nifty cloth bag! They put the nuts and bolts in a plastic bag inside the cloth bag which I thought redundant and wasteful. They should have saved themselves the trouble and lessened the environmental impact of extra plastic bag. Also included is a small Phillips head screw driver which is magnetized. Nifty, thank you for those, but totally unnecessary. Take a dollar off the price and once again lessen the environmental impact of manufacturing those items. I'm a single, disabled old lady and I have hand tools. Who doesn't? I wish Amazon had a "made in the USA" section so I could more easily find items manufactured here. My disabilities preclude me from getting out to shop for USA made items. It wouldn't be hard for Amazon to rig a fix for this on their website. I would sure filter out non-USA-made items!

WISH ALL PLANTERS WERE LIKE THESE!
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the 2 I bought were to put together. NO SCREWS OR NUTS~ THEY JUST SNAP TOGETHER! Long pieces of rail just snap on top and bottom of long pieces of metal tin. Wear gloves so tin doesn't cut your hands then after that you just make sure panels are facing the right way. Line up 2 corners and you just snap corner pieces top and bottom corners. Go all the way away round planter it should form a square. No tools needed but I did use a hammer to snap things together on and off but mostly fingers to push rails on top and bottom in. Sometimes used hammer to tap corners pieces on. Strudy and highly recommended. For 2 planters after I figured out what to do it took me all of 20 to 30 minutes to do both.

Shrink Wrap Nightmare! Poor Quality Control.
Pros: After reading some negative reviews, I was concerned, but decided to try them anyways. We’ve recently planted about 20 small trees and needed to create beds to protect them from the mowers, and just to look nicer. I’m a 56 year old woman, going through cancer treatment and having great difficulty with my hands, and I put these together by myself. There were no sharp edges as reported by others. This is a quality product. It has a very crisp clean look and is sturdy. I hope to buy more of these. They just look good. I put cardboard in the bottom to kill off the grass and fill with compost and mulch and pretty flowers. I’m happy with these once they’re put together.CONS: Every single piece is individually shrink wrapped, and getting an air pocket started to remove the shrink wrap is a pain in the bum. Even worse, each corner bracket has 4 separate pieces of shrink wrap. My fingers are bleeding from shrink wrap removal.Whoever packs these boxes truly hates their job! The package I opened today had all screws and bolts just thrown into the box. Parts were everywhere, what a mess! Cardboard end caps were not on the panels, the whole thing was a mess.It takes longer to remove the shrink wrap and sort/pick up all the individual parts that it does to put the thing together.Price Increase since first purchase, and worse packaging on recent orders, no more 20% off. I have 12 more of these to put together, and although I like the finished product, I wish I’d gone with another product. This shrink wrap/assembly BS is a damn nightmare and nobody has this kind of time or this much skin on their fingers.

These make great garden or plant guards!
I really like these galvanized garden walls. They are not too big or heavy to move around or use in different locations. I bought these not to be a raised garden, but to use as a short fence to protect fruit trees that I was planting to keep mowers and people away from my trees while they are small and establishing themselves. Once my trees gain some size and can hold their own, I can remove these little fences and use them for the next planting. These galvanized garden walls are very well-made, well-designed, and sturdy. The edges are rolled and not too sharp when handling.

Over priced
Do not buy ! This item will not hold any weight with the legs on and full! Looks nice but would be better if I would use without the legs collapsing all the time.
