In meinem Fall passt der Filter in eine Matte Box 3196 von Smallrig. Neben dem Filter gibt es eine Schutztasche und ein Reinigungstuch. Das Glas macht einen hochwertigen und sehr guten Eindruck. Es ist frei von Einschlüssen und absolut - optisch - klar. Der Abdunklungsgrad von 0.3 entspricht einem Belichtungs-Stop. Der Hersteller bietet den Filter in allen gewöhnlichen ND Werten an. Neben der gewünschten Abdunklung wird auch Streulicht gut gefiltert bzw reduziert. Auch leichter Regen perlt gut am Filter ab und kann rückstandslos entfernt werden. Trotz der Beschichtung ist das Glas kratzfest. Man sollte es zwar vorsichtig nutzen und auch bei Nichtgebrauch in der Tasche aufbewahren, aber im Einsatz steckt es mehr weg, als ich gedacht habe. Somit ist die Haltbarkeit und Dauerhaftigkeit des Produkts offenbar gewährleistet. Der Preis wirkt nicht günstig, ist aber in Anbetracht des Einsatzraumes und der Qualität absolut in Ordnung. Fünf Sterne!

Dieser Filter ist mit Sicherheit nichts für die meisten Otto-Normal-Anwender, sondern beschränkt sich auf die Nutzung zum Einschub in eine - der Größe - entsprechenden Matte Box, wie sie beim Filmen benutzt wird. In meinem Fall passt der Filter in eine Matte Box 3196 von Smallrig. Neben dem Filter gibt es eine Schutztasche und ein Reinigungstuch. Das Glas macht einen hochwertigen und sehr guten Eindruck. Es ist frei von Einschlüssen und absolut - optisch - klar. Der Abdunklungsgrad von 0.3 entspricht einem Belichtungs-Stop. Der Hersteller bietet den Filter in allen gewöhnlichen ND Werten an. Neben der gewünschten Abdunklung wird auch Streulicht gut gefiltert bzw reduziert. Auch leichter Regen perlt gut am Filter ab und kann rückstandslos entfernt werden. Trotz der Beschichtung ist das Glas kratzfest. Man sollte es zwar vorsichtig nutzen und auch bei Nichtgebrauch in der Tasche aufbewahren, aber im Einsatz steckt es mehr weg, als ich gedacht habe.
