Solid Shag Collection Area Rug (2' 2" x 3' 1" Rectangle, Cloud Gray)

(Graphite Gray) We are very impressed with this rug so far. It is somewhat reminiscent of a 70s shag, but the pile is a little bit shorter and a little bit more kinky which adds loft to the rug. Each filament is individually twisted, which should aid in the resilience and wear of the rug, which is good.It looks a little bit less natural than and all wool or Flokati rug but the trade-off with care is worth it. We had a more Flokati-like rug previously and it was difficult to care for long-term. With the polypropylene construction, this should also aid dramatically in the durability and clean-ability of the rug.Since photos are sometimes misleading in the descriptions, I have added some up close ones for inspection.TL;DR: Good rug. Great price. Probable good long-term durability.

Love this rug! Have had it for 6 years now and it still looks great. It’s fairly easy to clean. I recommend shaking / beating it then going over it with a vacuum. It’s comfortable and soft. Has held the quality for a long time. If you’re looking for a shag rug, this is the one to get.

Love this rug!! The color is so vibrant and goes well in my colorful room. It’s perfect. Not too shaggy and didn’t shed when I vacuumed it.

I'll try to address some complaints and my overall experience:- Corners lie flat, but it's also on carpet and has a rubber-type trim underneath that I think weighs it down some. Some here apparently don't have this trim, so may be part of the issue. I just put a few books on the edges for a day or so, and it looks good. Bunches up in a few areas, width-wise but again, used books. And with a few items of furniture on it now, it works.- It's soft but not like my fleece blanket. Think regular carpet fibers but longer and soft enough to be pleasant to your feet.- Color (terracotta / orange / burnt orange) is exactly as pictured and looks great. The best thing about it. I couldn't find another budget rug with this color.- Size ran *slightly* smaller than advertised (like an inch or half an inch). Still too big for my room.- Smell. First night after unrolling it, there was this pretty intense chemical smell. I could smell it in the other room -- concerning. So I opened the windows, faced a fan towards it, and just aired it out. After about a day and a half, the smell turned to a vinegar type smell. Again aired it out, and it was gone after a day. Guests visiting a few days later didn't notice a smell, so it's gone. If you can keep it outside for a few days or air it out, you should be fine. My guess is it's some sort of treatment they put on it or the glue as others mention.- It was sticky, which is probably related to the smell. Even after airing it out, it only recently stopped leaving some sort of sticky residue on my feet -- nothing you can visibly see. You can probably clean that out, but I was hesitant to put anything on it. I think walking on it enough got rid of it. I just made sure to wash my hands when touching it the first day or so.Sum it up:It's not a $1,000 rug, but it's exactly what I needed -- something cheap for my small apartment. But while most of the complaints I've seen ended up being resolved or not an issue for me, it sounds like some of us are just lucky with the rug we end up with. Color, smell, lying flat, etc could all just be luck. Worst case, returning a rug really isn't that difficult depending on the size if you can roll it back into the plastic and bring it to a UPS. I returned one before this and the worst part was traffic.Last bit to parents: I probably wouldn't get a cheap rug like this online if I had a child running around. The smell and sticky residue, even though gone, is enough to cause concern. But no evidence to show it's actually dangerous.

I love it! Honestly, I had been saving up to buy this rug from another company. On the other company’s website, the rug was $400. Then I just happened to find it on Amazon one day and the cost on Amazon actually allowed me to buy not only the exact rug I wanted but I was also able to buy another one in a 13 ft runner as well! My living area is HUGE and the 10x13 wasn’t really big enough so I got the runner to add length and it works great and especially since the runner will be under the sofa. So now I have a 12x13 with the 2 rugs combined. Just gonna use a little rug tape to keep them close together. I was super excited about to be able to buy them sooner than expected and It arrived 2 whole days before the expected delivery date as well! They were wrapped nicely and arrived in good shape. The only thing that threw me off is that the fiber feels a little rough to touch. I haven’t laid them out yet so I don’t know if they slip or grip. I’ll likely add photos when the rest of my furniture arrives and I have it all set in place. The color is a little lighter than I would have liked but it’s still nice and I’m sure it will look great when it all comes together.

I love this solid shag rug! It was delivered rolled up, so there were no creases. There is a helpful sticker on the back that explains how to remove any wrinkles or creases (if you do have them).My rug laid right down, without problems. I noticed they sewed a strip of leather into the seam to give it a bit more oomph & help it lay flat. I imagine that also helps it to grip the floor. Mine is under my 300lb coffee table so I don’t have an issues with it moving around.This rug feels great on my feet! I love how plush & shaggy it is! The color is exactly what is shown on the pictures.I’m very happy with this rug & will definitely purchase from them in the future.

This is the third rug I’ve bought from this company the first one was a burnt terra-cotta orange color purchased about four years ago really the love it very soft … I just purchased two black ones 10x13 and 6x9 they really hard to the touch feels like walking on dried grass.

I got the rug during Amazon Prime days for about 30 dollars off of the regular price. I knew I was not going to find a decent quality 7 ft rug anywhere for that price. The only thing I was hesitant on was some of the reviews citing bugs in the rug and the length of the shag. I have a similar rectangular rug in a guest room that my vacuum robot gets stuck on due to the length of the shag. It's one thing to pull up a bedside rug that nothing is standing on prior to running the vacuum but it's another thing to have to move a dinette set off of a rug or try to roll up the sides every time the vacuum runs. So when I got it, I vacuumed it thoroughly with my regular upright vacuum which is what the manufacturer recommends in order to fluff it back up. I also did it to remove any bugs that may have been embedded. I then weighted down the edges that were still a little curled up from shipping rolled up. I just used my dinette chairs and after a day or two, the rug was flat. I have no complaints so far. I looks good. It's a neutral color that blends in. I've seen no bugs and my robot vacuum does okay on it. It does slow to a snail's pace on the rug but so far, it has only gotten stuck once when it went up under the base of table. Without the rug, it would have been able to back out of that tight space 100% of the time but with the rug, it occasionally needs help. The main thing is I got it at a great price and I like it. I have always hated it when people get a rug for under a table without enough diameter to cover when you back the chair up to get up. You go from being on the rug to on the floor. Or even worse, when the front legs are on the rug but the back legs are off the rug even when sested. So I knew that if I wanted that "backing up" space, I needed at least 7 ft and this did the trick.

Le tapis il est très bien en soi , pas cher , mignon, bonne qualités mais par contre attention ⚠️ il glisse à mort ! Faut prévoir un tapis antidérapant ou des bandes. Sur mon carrelage c’est une patinoire, les enfants se régale mdr 🤣

Ich habe 2 Stück im Angebot im gekauft (Wolkengrau und Elfenbein) und bin sehr zufrieden. Bisher ist kein Verfilzen sichtbar, was für mich das wichtigste Kaufkriterium war. Sollte mein kleiner Sohn das Elfenbein irgendwann in Dunkelgrau verwandeln, werde ich bestimmt nachkaufen😁

Le misure indicate erano errate, appena arrivato l'ho notato dalla custodia che era troppo piccola, mi son chiesto perchè era molto più piccolo della dimensione che doveva avere e leggendo l'etichetta si capisce l'errore. Al posto di essere circa 2x3 metri, è arrivato che misurava 2x3 feet (piedi) cioè circa tre volte più piccolo di quanto scritto nella descrizione
