Awesome Performance – Perfect for Lawn Equipment
I’ve been using Castrol GTX Classic 20W-50 in my lawn equipment, and it’s been absolutely great. It provides solid protection, smooth operation, and helps extend the life of my mower and trimmer. This oil is especially good for older engines or small engines that run hot and need a thicker oil.The only downside is that it’s hard to find in stores, so I usually have to order it online. But when I can get it, it’s worth every penny. If you're maintaining older engines or heavy-duty lawn tools, this oil is a reliable choice. Highly recommended!

This is a good value. Great oil for older cars that need zinc.

Great old formula oil.
Thank goodness it has zinc. Superior lubrication on vintage motors. Especially motors with solid lifter cams.

Easy to find classic car formula for great price
Great alternative to zinc additives or running a standard oil in older flat tappet cars. I have used this and Lucas classic car formula. It feels like Lucas does a better job with cleaning and cooling, but this seems to work well too. This is cheaper usually so well worth it. Put it this way, if I can get Lucas on sale where its within a few bucks of Castrol, I'll buy Lucas. If Lucas is too expensive or too hard to get, I'll happily use the Castrol.

Great oil but over-priced.
I prefer to use Castrol Classic in my 1962 MGA. The formulation is beneficial to older flat tappet engines. However, Castrol price increases place the Classic 20W50 $16 higher than the 5-quart Valvoline VR-1. Shifting to Valvoline next oil change.
