These are plenty big and they are pretty hefty. We store leftovers in them all the time. No need to split things into two smaller canisters. A good buy.

Borosilicate and borosilicate variants of glass have a ruled the kitchen food storage container wars for years. Microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe make this a win-win product. The lids will always develop a crack on the edge between the microwave and the dishwasher, but that turns out to be a ventilated lid after you order more lids and the ventilated lid is valuable in the microwave. I will continue to purchase these products.

Moving away from plastic containers to glass. These work great.

EDIT. A month or 2 later. Another chip on the top of the glass bowl. Dont bang the glass against anything. This glass is a tad too thin. Not like our dozen Pyrex glass containers. .The top rim chipped within a week.

Perfect size glass containers. They hold 4 cups of food which is a perfect size. Have had these over the last 50 years and love they. Can go in the microwave and dish washer, with the tops in the top rack of dish washer.
