The color options are great and having the ability to dim it is a bonus. Looks really good behind my bar with the liquor in front of it. Illuminates the bottle very well.

I recently installed this Mindsky TV LED Backlight Strip to my Samsung Smart TV. The installation was extremely simple and took no more than 10 - 15 minutes to do so. This lightstrip is powered by a 1 amp USB outlet on my TV, which is slightly more power than the light strip requires so it is perfect that I do not have to use a separate 5 volt 1 amp charging cube.The adhesive on the back of the light strip is quality 3M so you will never have to worry about it becoming detached.The Bluetooth receiver controller and USB plug is one unit that adheres to the back of the TV as well.The 1 amp USB port on the my TV supplies the needed power to light the light strip. The light strip can be turned off and on by turning your TV on or off, if the light strip is powered by the USB port on the TV. It can also be turned on or off by using the Bluetooth App. If you run a separate power supply such as a USB Power cube, the light strip power can be controlled with the APP.The APP has many features such as a Mic , music function and has a timer function to schedule on and off times.the APP also offer pre-programmed Styles which offers a choice of single static colors, 3 and 7 color jumping color change, 3 and 7 color cross fade, 7 color choices of single color gradual change, 2 color cross fade and single color strobe function. All of the above choices offer a speed control which regulates the rate of change. Also allows control of the brightness intensity. This light strip gives off plenty of light so you can control the brightness to your liking.The APP comes with 6 preset and 6 classic colors to choose from.But there is more, you can also create your own custom color from the color wheel in the App.The APP has a built in users guide to help in understanding all the functions and features are.I'm using this APP on my IPhone and the APP is available in the Apple App Store to download for free.I am very happy with this light strip with its simple installation and operation.

I'm very pleased with these lights. One of the last things I wanted to cross off my list for lighting was under-bed lights set on a timer for waking up in the morning. As a sleep enthusiast and a light lover, I am absolutely pleased with the brightness and the colors. The Ehome Light app has a lot of nice features that make it easier to customize the light effects, and best of all there's a timer setting.The lights themselves are a good amount of light. As with all LED strips, don't expect to be able to light a whole room past comfortable reading level or ambient light unless you plan to go to extremes. Red, green and blue are exactly what you would expect; bright and vivid in low to medium light conditions.I have not tried to use the adhesive on the strips itself as I usually use cable clips to secure them in place. I did try to peel off some of the paper backing to get a certain pesky section to keep from moving, but the adhesive also started coming off with the backing; which is fairly common on LED strips.There are some unique buttons on the remote. There is "candle" which is a pleasant shade of red-orange. "Party" which toggles between "Jump3" and "Jump7". "Night" which is a nice low-brightness blue, and "Starry" which is effectively the strobe button. There are timer buttons for 1, 2, and 4 hours on the remote, as well as various music settings.While the app makes everything much easier to customize, I wish there was a setting to customize your own series of colors. I have also had my schedule on/off settings randomly default to off. There is also a very interesting and useful section of the app that allows you to modify the pin sequence. This is valuable for using the controller on different strips that may have an alternate pin sequence. It is also very useful for testing dead LEDs or faulty connections (which there were none in my set) should the need arise.I'm very pleased with these lights, the controller, and the app, and I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for low cost non-addressable LEDs for projects.

This is a nice string of lights. I found the colors and the quality of the LED strip to be very good. The unit has a manual control consisting of three buttons. The middle one is power. That’s pretty obvious. The others are labeled “D” and “M” and it’s not entirely clear what these do. The D button seems to take you through all the different operating modes. I haven’t quite figured out the “M” button yet. It seems to act as a power of button as well. It’s not really clear.The app is nice. Has a decent layout and kind of a cool color wheel for selecting colors. It will change the lights to music you play but the problem is that I could not get it to find my music. Not sure if that because most of my music is in the cloud or on Apple Music so I didn’t find that feature to be too useful. Would be nice if it did a better job connecting to your music library.One thing to note about this unit is that the connectivity is vis BLE. Unlike other Magic Home light controllers, this one will not interface to Alexa and you have to be near the string for BLE to connect. I prefer a WiFi based unit as it’s got better range and the Alexa interface is nice as I can integrate the strip with my home control system. I can’t do that with this one.But if you need basic control from an app, this is a good string. The IR remote is also very nice with a lot of extra features buttons.
