I am trying to find a high quality protein low fat food, would this be considered low fat?

Hi Angela! My name is Cait and I work with Instinct. This recipe has 25% less fat than our Instinct Original kibble recipe for cats. That being said, fats are essential parts of a cat's diet because they're an important source of energy and carry fat-soluable vitamins. Cats also need essential fatty acids such as AA, EPA and DHA. Many of these healthy fats are found in meat or fish protein - which is already great for cats since they're obligate carnivores. How much ASH is in this??

The guaranteed analysis and ingredients list don't show ash as a component of this product. It does contain montmorillonite clay to retard clumping of the kibble. Montmorillonite clay is believed to help bind mold toxins and heavy metals in the digestive tract, allowing them to be more easily excreted in waste.

Is your protein kibble not so huge and chunky? That would be ideal for my cat, and is what I'm looking for.
