This is a great book series for little girls. My daughter enjoys reading it!

My daughter is four & I read this book to her. I was looking for something to get her interested in longer stories that we can put down and return to. We finished this book over three days. She remembered the story and asked for more time reading it. I love that it has piqued her interest enough to follow through. It has just enough pictures to help her imagination fill in the gaps. I can also see this as a great beginner independent reading book for later grades (maybe 1-3).

My daughter loves reading but has always had books with lots of pictures. She was a little nervous about reading a book with black and white pictures and not on every page. Once she started reading it, she soon realized that without pictures, you are free to use your imagination. She truly enjoyed reading this book and is excited to read the second one. The story highlights the importance of friendship and teamwork. It was also nice to have a book with female characters and dragons. Her favourite animal is a dragon but most are geared to boys so this was a wonderful find. Very happy with this book and I could see us buying the entire series.
