Come to find that after cleaning everything & putting it all back together the stock injectors were leaking severely. I knew that there as a leak but didn't know how bad as the amount of carbon build up hid much of the evidence. With the engine only running on a steady supply of starter fluid I knew fuel was my issue. I had searched before with the plan to eventually upgrade to this but that eventuality came sooner than expected. I ordered this new style & it came within a few days very well packaged. It's stated that the tubes are stiff & somewhat fragile, while the stiff part is correct I found it all to be entirely rugged. Getting everything to seat in the original holding clamp was difficult, but with care & time it fit just right. The engine starts far better than before, runs much stronger & fuel economy has increased. My advice, if your in there just go for the upgrade. It really is a world of difference. It did also come with a new gasket. Review: This is the way to go - GM had major problems with the original fuel injection system. It was a poppet valve system. This system gets rid of the poppet valve. This system is an updated GM designed replacement and it's worth the money. Instant starts and smooth acceleration and much tighter fuel control. Now if you are replacing the original worn out junk system you will of course notice a difference. This is what GM came up with to solve the issues with the original system.
