Great China Colossal Warthog Plush Dog Toy, 14"

This is one of my rescue pup’s favorite toys!

HELLO!!! It is a stuffed toy, of course if you have a dog that tears everything it gets its mouth on, it will rip. But I have a 4month puppy, a doberman, and she plays with this nonstop if I let her. It has high pitched squeakers in each of the feet, and a deep honk in the belly of it. I cant tell you how much this toy is a favorite. I take it out , let her play for an hour or three , if she starts getting to rough I take it up. we do that all day long. It has lasted a month so far. This larger size warthog is a wonderful toy, but I do not leave her unsupervised for long with it.. It keeps her occupied with the different sounds, and she is teething, so she chews a bit, but really loves throwing it across the room or yard and then 'getting it'. If it were to die tomorrow It was worth every penny for the joy it gave both pup and me. but it is still fine. she races around the house and. yard with it just enjoying herself. I tried the smaller 8" warthog by same company, and nope, she has no interest in it. I think it is because this larger one having each foot containing a squeaker and the belly having a foghorn sound one..

We bought this for our Newfie when he was a puppy. He loved it, cuddled with it, and it was his best friend, Frank for eight years. But with so love comes destruction. Poor Frank had to be replaced. Luckily we found him here. We were a bit worried that Loki, our Newfie would be put off by the new Frank. Oh no, he loves Frank 2.0. He did start to pull the tuff of hair out but he isn’t as destructive with this one. He carries the warthog around and snuggles with him and his other favorites. Is it going to survive your dog’s attack? No, but it is big enough for a giant breed to carry and love. The noise is also a great. It isn’t consistent squeaking but just a low grunt.

It's def a stuffing toy. Didn't last long with my mastiffs but, wasn't a "bad" toy.

My dog has 3 of these. He's obsessed with warthogs. He's nice to his toys, so they last, but I wou say they're well made. Just the basic dog toy. But they have squeakers in each foot and a big honker in the middle. And they're pretty huge.

This looked like a warthog that my dogs had before. That's where the similarity stopped. This one was so cheaply made, my dog tore a gaping hole in it in minutes. After I took it away I saw why - the material was so thin and cheap, as was the stitching. I fixed it since it was new but It was impossible for my dogs to play with it without tearing it up. So now it's gone and will not be replaced.

What can I say, Walt has been an outstanding addition to the family (3 years now). He is the perfect companion to our aging Golden (Mon Cherie). Walt is tough as nails...MC will fling him from one side of the room to the other via his ear flaps and not once does he complain! He's also very protective and made sure no presents were taken, so he's also a WatchWarthog!!

My dog loves the Warthogs, but this one did not last anywhere near the others I have bought. Started getting holes almost immediately on use.
