Holt's Almanac

There are so many great books in this world, but there are some special things about this one that are worth noting. Not only do I love the fact that you visit real cities across the country as you journey with Holt, but it really enhances the story when the author footnotes the more unfamiliar language and folklore of those areas for the reader to gain more insight and depth. There was a lot of thought and research put into Holt’s Almanac that leads the reader into adventure and learning.Once you start this book you will not want to put it down!

Awesome book for people that want a book that shows a whole new perspective on folklore and adventure. I has tons of hidden details that will make you want to read the book again. I will read again!

This new author set out to write an ambitious first novel and succeeded! I couldn't put the book down and am hoping for a sequel in the near future.
