Yay! Finally a non clunky, non extra hardware, non-drilling installing, non-damaging pull up bar! And it feels really secure. I only weigh 130 so it's not a hardcore assurance, but I hang upside down from it because it feels that strong. The installation is as easy as when I installed these giant grab bars in my mom's shower, I could hang off of those too. The only concern I would add is that if your door isn't super strong, it may get hurt. Which is another sign of the stability of the bar itself. But I have metal door frames. If you have wooden frames or something is not perfectly solid, it might damage it as some other reviewers mentioned. Even my solid metal frame made a little adjustment sound when I tightened the bar all the way. Oh, and for 40 bucks, it's also a really good price, I would have paid more to have a no nonsense pull up bar. I attached it by myself but ideally either stand on a chair while doing it so you have an easier time looking at the balance bubbles for horizontal evenness or have someone help you. It is not a lightweight bar! Which, again, is good for the stability. Highly recommend. Oh, and I don’t recommend hanging upside down, I only do that when someone is there to spot me, even with a foam cushion underneath me.

We've used this for years and its the exact same as the day we bought it. It's great quality and has been able to withstand years of use. Theres no ripping or rusting of materials. We have it in a doorway and it doesn't slip at all. The amount of cushioning is great and makes longer workouts more comfortable. Its super easy to set up and take down. We've moved it around a couple times as needed and its a quick job.

Super nervous when I was getting this product but it works really well. I weight about 193 pounds and it carries me very easily. Super small and easy to use. Very sturdy and a really good grip. For me specifically I have extremely sweaty hands so it helps a lot

I needed a pull up bar that would fit inside the door frame and this does the trick. It’s really heavy duty and built well. The mounting points are a little larger than I thought but I was still able to make it work in my small bathroom door frame. Instructions were easy and all parts accounted for. So far so good, time to get my workout on

This pull up bar is fantastic. It took a minute or two to figure out how to extend the bar but once you get it, it is super easy. Make sure you install in a doorway that is firmly in place & stable.. like part of the foundation. The grip is nice & the fit in a 37 inch doorway was fine. Very versatile product. Overall, recommend this !

I got this March 16th, was excited to start using it, and was immediately put off by the horrendous smell coming off the foam. I figured the smell would go away after a couple weeks, but today is April 12th and I could almost swear the smell is even worse. Barely even using this, the toxic smell gets stuck to your hands and radiates all around you. Even washing your hands isn't enough! After washing my hands, taking a long and hot shower, and washing my hands a second/third time was not enough. The smell just doesn't go away, even after trying to clean the foam, it doesn't reduce the smell at all. I'm not even sure why this product is allowed to be sold on Amazon if it just pollutes your skin with a toxic chemical producing a toxic smell. Had I known this was going to be such a persistent smell, I never would have ordered. Sometimes people are extreme when it comes to product reviews, but I no longer think those people who were talking about 'smell' were exaggerating in the slightest... if anything, they weren't speaking completely about it! BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT BUY.

Great product, but definitely pay attention to how your home is built. I live in an old but renovated apartment in NYC, and after inspecting for cracks and what not, I figured I was good to go seeing as my door frames seemed solid. The issue is, when I went to install the bar I continued tightening until it could go no further, and this was starting to damage my wooden doorframe. I could see it physically bending the wood, which is a shame because I was excited to use the product. But for anyone in an old building that was renovated, keep in mind that they may have put non-solid layers over solid foundations, making this product unusable. Everything about the product, great. My apartment, not so much.

Installed the pull-up bar on an aluminium framed door and it holds really well. One minor negative is that due to its variable width, wide grip pull-up fall outside the main body and on thin extension tubes which make it less comfortable experience.

Works perfectly, my son is very happy with it.

Edit: Passou um mês desde que a barra chegou e ela começou a perder a força. Aguentou por um mês, porém agora está começando a cair. Talvez ainda seja boa para quem não é tão pesado assim, mas se pesar 120+ kgs, não é ideal. Sou bem pesado, estou obeso, e queria uma barra para começar a me exercitar. Pesquisei bastante, procurando uma que aguentasse meu peso, e quando vi essa, fiquei em dúvida se aguentaria. Testei e posso dizer que aguentou sem problemas. É feita de um material que parece bom, e aguenta bem o peso. Recomendo.

Für den Preis ist die Klimmzugstange wirklich richtig gut. Am Anfang muss man sich schon überwinden, sein komplettes Gewicht dranzuhängen, aber sie hält bei mir sehr zuverlässig. Ich benutze sie jetzt seit etwa zwei Monaten fast täglich und sie sitzt immer noch fest, ohne sich zu verdrehen oder zu lösen. Die Montage ohne Bohren funktioniert gut, wenn der Türrahmen stabil ist. Genau das sollte man aber vorher unbedingt prüfen, ich hatte einen alten Holz Türrahmen und dort ist bei der Befestigung leider etwas eingebrochen. Das liegt nicht an der Stange selbst, sondern einfach daran, dass der Rahmen das Gewicht nicht gut verteilt hat. Ansonsten fühlt sich die Konstruktion hochwertig an, die Polster greifen gut und nichts rutscht. Wenn der Türrahmen passt, bekommt man hier eine sehr stabile Klimmzugstange fürs Heimtraining. Für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert, daher 5 Sterne.
