Works with Alexa 48” Oscillating 4-Speed Tower Fan with Timer

We only buy Lasko for all needs of this type/fans and fans with heat also. Very well made and they function as advertised with very little noise. The size and air flow are awesome each depends on which size you get for what area and it is always as advertised. They look great in our home and supply year round comfort to all areas.

Took all summer to decide on a replacement tower fan since my old one is worn out. When it comes to household electronics I alway choose “New” over refurbished just because they usuall don’t come with a very long shelf life. I was a bit skeptical when I opened it because it was octopus it had been opened and regaled. So ready to set it up since it’s 85 degrees here in Northern Cali which is a scorching heat wave for us, and…No instructions, no remote , but the worse thing is the base is thin, cheap plastic and will not stay on the fam if you give it even the slightest nudge. Sorry Amazon, it’s coming back to you today. Maybe if it’s missing some piece that does keep the base on the fan, I will get a replacement. I will chat with the lovely Amazon operator about that. It is a good looker, I will admit. Snazzy enough for my living room area. Hello—I want to update you since Amazon allowed me to return my original fan. I actually got the brand new replacement within days of that review before I even had a chance to take the old one diwn to the UPS Store. The first one I received had indeed been missing a few things and I am so glad I gave them a second chance. I LOVE this fan. It is so shiny white, ultra sleek, modern and sexy. Big lit LED display you can see from across the room and massive wide air flow. When I put it on level floor I actually have to crawl under a blanket which I love. I have not had a chance to do the Alexa connect, I will definately get that done this weekend. I just am so enjoying the aesthetics and power of this fan. The way that it’s shape and how the base snaps in just seems so sturdy. I don’t think it will have the same wobble effect as it ages that my other fans get. So thumbs up on my newest cooling gadget! In fact I will be purchasing another matching one now so that next summer I can really chill with some cross flow action. PART THREE:: STILL LOVING MY FAN AND READY TO BUY ANOTHER! I tecently had a pioe burst and flood my place and while most of my floor level items were tuimef, manhandled by thoughtless workers smd damaged, my tower fan is still level, steady and operational! I did get it synchrd to work with Alexa on my Evho show—Yes!

Airflow is good across all levels. I use the fan at night so the below observations are based on that use. The display is large but way too bright and will disrupt night vision. It is so bright it can be used as an alternate night light and was annoying; I stuck two strips of painters tape over the display and could still easily see the number. Sleep mode says it dims 50% but even that was bright and the display goes back to full bright if user changes the speed during the Sleep cycle. Lasko needs to modify the bright green to red so as not to affect night vision. Connecting to Alexa took three tries. Following the connection instructions: the first option of just asking Alexa to find the fan failed; the second option to scan the barcode failed as the fan couldn't be found. Had to use the third option of basically setting the fan to scan mode which connected fairly easily. Once connected, Alexa reaction to commands to change fan options was immediate and smooth. Fairly quiet; it is a fan so isn't going to be silent but didn't disrupt ability to sleep.

I loved my old Lasko fan...I've had it for 10 years. Two reasons for a new one....I wanted a white fan white AND unfortunately you can't take it apart to clean it and despite multiple attempts it still looked pretty bad. About the new fan.... Pros--Moves air well esp on the highest of the 4 speeds. Love the height. The white color is nice. Note: only the front and base are white,. The back is black. The sleep timer is nice but I don't use it. It can be used w Alexa although I do not use that feature. Cons--Has an annoying high pitched whine on every speed present since unboxing over a month ago. I thought it might get better w use but it hasn't. The display is very LARGE, bright and can't be turned off that I can see. It can be dimmed but it is still bright (the first picture is normal brightness. The second dimmed). It seems overpriced... the darker models were much less. I kept the fan despite its flaws, however I have cursed it several times since purchasing. 😂 Maybe mine is defective but if you are annoyed by noises, return it if you get one that irritates you bc it doesn't improve w time.

There is a remote it's your smartphone. Open up your Alexa app, at the bottom select devices, click on first fan. Now you'll see the on/off switch, speed, oscillation, timer, and display. Enjoy Billy Also I've noticed that the wifi doesn't work all of the time. You give it a command and it says device not responding but I tried again and it works very from frustrating. Even if I use my smartphone manually I have the same problem. I'm a wifi and smartphone guru so it's not my internet.

Regret buying.... Very noisy. On level 3&4 has a loud rattle coming from upper back part. On level 1&2, less rattle, but more like loud humming noise. Impossible to use in bedroom if trying to sleep. I would have returned, but I aleady got rid of box (my mistake) before I realized how loud it is

Excelente ventilador para áreas que necesiten ventilación, es alto y por ende lo puedes usar en comedores por ejemplo. No tiene control remoto, lamentablemente en la App de Alexa no viene la opción de Lasko y en la configuración nunca se completa, no he podido conectarlo con Alexa.

Aunque la app de Alexa lo detecta nunca lo conecta y no encontré ninguna manera de conectarlo. No tiene control remoto. Así que, si estás en México busca la opción con control remoto y sin Alexa. En cuanto a ruido, si es ruidoso. El flujo de aire es bueno pero el ruido es mayor.

Lo compré porque se conecta con Alexa, pero no permite concluir la configuración. Tampoco pude configurar el control desde la app de Lasko.

Esta muy hermoso el ventilador lamentablemente nunca lo pude conectar con alexa
