Review: Excellent compression cubes--sturdy, and multiple sizes - I was packing for my first cruise. Had to have a variety of clothing for everything from dressy nights onboard, to kayaking and zip lining excursion, and many things in between. I was going to need a lot of clothes, but didn't want a lot of luggage. I watched many online reviews and videos about packing cubes, but never saw these particular ones mentioned. My husband had some others that had mesh tops and he let me try a leftover. The mesh on that one pulled out of the seam the first time I zipped it up, so I knew I didn't want to mess with those. I found these on desertcart, and they had great reviews. The one drawback I could see was that there was no way to tell what was in each cube once you had packed them. But I liked what I saw, so ordered two sets (one in black and one in grey), and I was very impressed with the quality. I've had no trouble with the zippers, the seams are well sewn, they really compress things, and kept my suitcase organized. As to not being able to see what was in them, I solved that problem by attaching a small tag to the zipper pull of each cube and I wrote on the tag what I had put in that cube. That even helped me when it came time to pack up to head home. I could grab a cube, read the tag, and know exactly what to pack in it. If I ever need to pack another suitcase, I will be buying more of these--a very satisfied customer. Review: Pleasantly Surprised - Was looking for new "compression packing cubes" specifically, and bought a few different ones to try out. I ended up keeping this one and returning the rest. I know many people like the mesh or semi transparent bags but I thought to give this one a try since I hadn't seen any that were completely solid. I don't mind the solidness and I can easily color code the bags myself with some stickers or something, its only 4 cubes, but I can see why some people wouldn't like it. I know some reviewers posted zipping or ripped problems which is why I initially had mixed feelings, but I'm glad that I went ahead and got them. These were able to compress and fit more than some of the other ones I got, with no problems easily zipping or compressing. Compression cubes are not the end all solution, you can't fill it to the brim with no room to be able to compress, of course it will rip/burst. I was able to fit 6/7 t-shirts in the small ones and it took up way less space than my regular packing cube of the same size. Also, for zippers getting stuck, all you need to is put a finger or two under the zipper as you zip and it almost guarantees you won't get any fabric stuck. Don't know the longevity yet but so far so good.

Pretty good
Nice! Just doesn't fit as much clothes as I thought it would.

Functional but flawed
The packs can hold quite a bit, but after just one 3 week trip one of the bags is beginning to fray at the zipper. In addition, there is no way to label the bags so you know what’s inside (example pants, sweaters).neither labels or tape will stick to the packaging. Adding a small area of different fabric to allow a label would greatly enhance the functionality. Just FYI, the bags come with a smell when first unpacked.

EXCELLENT QUALITY
If you're reading this review because you have been hemming and hawing over which compression packing cubes to purchase, STOP RIGHT THERE. Are you not into the mesh lining of the others, or was it the reviews of cheap zippers scaring you away, or have you read other reviews on a product you we're leaning towards, but found out that the packaging fabric color leaked and stained your clothes while you were on vacation? this product does NONE OF THAT. I am an overpacker. There, I said it. The first step to help, is admitting you have a problem, right? I just can't help it. I dont know how I'm going to feel on vacation, so I freak out and bring too much so that I have something for every mood. I honestly bought these (2 sets) because my husband and I were planning a trip to Disneyland in California, and then a hop over to Hawaii. These two specific trips require two VERY different sets of clothing. Bathing suits, flip flops, sunscreen and beach cover ups for one trip, and comfortable walking shoes, shorts, teeshirts, and mouse ears for the other. I bought these because I wanted to be able to fit more, but also to keep my two sets of clothing separated so they wouldn't get wrinkled. I was so excited to get these in the mail, that I packed my entire suitcase using these cubes the day they arrived. They were amazing! The cubes themselves have no mesh, have very sturdy stitching AND a very sturdy zipper. This was exactly what I was looking for. I really liked that this product came with two different colors for the zippers. Red zipper to represent the compression zipper, and black to represent the compartment zipper. This makes it easy to grab something out of your suitcase on the go. If you are looking for quick identification, this bag might not be for you, because as ive said before, there is no mesh, no see through anything on this bag. But, if you pack all of one thing (like shorts, or tees) in one of the compression bags, you will be able to know which bag contains which. One more thing, sure they dont come in a bunch of colors, and won't make your suitcase "pretty", so I guess that might be a downside, but the gray is actually a pretty cool color. Plus, you just cant beat what these have to offer. I try to make my reviews helpful to someone who is considering purchasing, so if you found this review helpful, please let me know by clicking the "helpful" button below. Thank you.

Game changer & life saver!
I’ve been looking for the right packing cube for quite some time. I’ve purchased other brands in the past and most of them did not fit all my clothes + family clothes...it also did not compress well. I gave the Bento cubes a try and it fit ALL my travel clothes. It’s also nice that the set comes in different sizes. The smallest / narrowest one is perfect for underwear and socks - especially for my toddler son as his socks tend to go everywhere inside the luggage. The largest one was perfect for all my shirts and husband’s; I was able to fit two more light dresses in there and zip it all up. This product is sleek and stylish in design, lightweight but sturdy. It also kept my clothes wrinkle free. I used to be a last-minute messy packer. Now, my luggage looks neat and it also helped me organize once I arrived at the destination! I only purchased one set to start, but I will order again for my larger Rimowa suitcase.

Zipper constantly get stuck
I bought these for a 5 week trip across Asia and by the end of the trip I didn’t even use them. When packed/compressed I didn’t save that much room and it actually made packing harder. The quality was also not great - the fabric of the compression bag kept getting stuck in the zipper. In a few spots this has already started to tear at the fabric of the compression bag. I would return these if I could.

Still going strong
I use them every time I travel. They work so great and compress well. Sometimes I push them to the limits and force the zipper shut and then compress it with the compression zipper, I’ll get it half way most time. I say that to show they hold and haven’t busted a seam or zipper yet. Been around a year now. It’s really great for keeping a clean packed bag and organized. Buy it.
