I purchased these to help me trim my dog's nails. The light is aimed just where I need it, and the magnification is perfect.

I bought these kinda as a joke for the hubby but he ended up loving them & we had some people ask us where we got them when we are out to eat

These things are perfect for night time reading or for writing. You need no other light,they give off plenty. I love them.

These are exactly what I was looking for! The light is bright and the glasses are perfect!!

Batteries started failing on mine. There are doors that easily come off to access the batteries, but the batteries appear to fixed to the board and cannot be easily replaced. It appears that you would need a soldering iron and soldering experience to replace batteries. Disappointing. Shouldn't be like this.

The lights are not bright enough very disappointed

I really was excited about these, and I still like them and will give them another try. My eyesight is going and I need reading glasses that are a little stronger than the 3.00s you can get at many stores. They offer 4.00s, which is the reason I will try them again,. The pair that I got have two lights, one on each side, with their own separate batteries. One LED went out very soon after I got them. I assumed the batteries were the problem, but upon closer inspection, it's a defect in the switch that make the LED work intermittently. These could be redesigned so that there is a single switch that turns on BOTH LEDs at the time and use a sturdier switch. I will try these again, as I said. But they need work. The little bag and the lens cleaner cloth are both functional and can be used with other glasses.

They really help me see things better up close!!
