I got this volleyball because it's NCAA and Haikyuu!!
This volleyball definitely is different from the Wilson and Mikasas I'm used to. The hexagon shape definitely allows a better grip on the ball, but it just so happens that this version is the exact same ball from Haikyuu!! What do you know?

Decent ball, but not the best
Had this ball for 2 months and have had to inflate it numerous times. Meanwhile, my Tachikara and Mikasa balls have held their air since day one (and I've had some for over a decade). This ball is a lot heavier than a typical volleyball, and the composite material feels more like rubber than the leather it is suppose to be imitating. However, the hex patterns do add some grip which is helpful for setters, so this is actually my preferred ball when I set. In the end, I'd prefer not to have to keep pumping air into this ball every time I want to use it, but despite my gripes, this is still one of the better indoor balls compared to the garbage you'd find in retail stores or even most sporting good shops. Please note this is rated for college-level play or higher, though I'd personally recommend the yellow and blue Mikasa MIP300 or MVA200 over these balls. For high school level, the Tachikara SV5W Gold is still your best option.

Good and bad :/
TL;DR at the bottomI was excited to get this ball but after reading some of the reviews on it and seeing the pictures it seemed like people were having a lot of trouble with this ball. Trouble that you wouldn't expect for a ball of this cost. I went against my better judgement and bought it anyway with hopes of not running into those problems. Not the case. My ball has pretty noticeable seam gaps both deflated and inflated. I can see the inner layer of the ball in several spots and everything. Really let down to be honest. Furthermore the ball deflates at an alarming rate. I was only practicing with it for an hour and it had a very noticeable difference in inflation. The colors are cool though and when you're not thinking about how the ball was/is falling apart even before it was out of the box and how with every hit the ball loses a good chunk of air- it's fun to play with... Just bring a pump with you and start saving for a new ball. This ball should be half the cost on here though. Or (similarly) make it 2 for 1 by default so when one of the balls goes flat you have another one waiting.TL;DR The ball was falling apart even before it was out of the box and loses air incredibly fast. On the bright side, it looks cool... Not worth the cost though.

Good weight and feel. Concerned about the panels.
I liked the feel and weight of the ball. My main concern is that the panels are already beginning to split before even being used. One of the white panels is sticking out after the ball was inflated to the proper psi. I usually get quality items through amazon, but this one is subpar.

deflates after one game unsure on how I feel
We like the feel of the ball and my daughter was excited to receive it because it's a nice ball however, it deflates. I am not a VB player nor do I know about volleyball stuff, but after she played a game in a gym with her dad. I grabbed the ball the next morning and was like wow it's really soft. It was deflated. So big bummer. I put in for an exchange and customer service seems to be taking care of me we have to see if Molten accepts the exchange. I would buy the ball again I think.

The Best Volleyball I've Ever Played With!
I play indoor volleyball 3-4 times a week, and I've played with different kinds of volleyballs. This one is, by far, the best volleyball I have ever played with. I know that sounds like a gross exaggeration, but no other ball in the world can compare to this! It only took 2-3 games to break it in, which is much shorter than previous new balls I've used. The grip on this ball is amazing, and it's perfect for setting. I find that some volleyballs are slippery and difficult to grip properly (Mikasa brand balls are like that). This would be a great ball for someone who's learning how to set. Even the people on my team who aren't good setters say that their sets are better when they use this. The grip also makes it easy to overhand serve the ball. It's gotten to the point that I can't serve well with other balls because I'm so used to the amazing grip on this one. This ball is harder than most of the ones I've used, which means that spikes and hits come down on the other side of the court extremely fast. If you want a soft ball, then this is definitely not for you. You may want to try something like Molten's Super Touch. I personally don't mind the hardness. One minor issue I have with this ball is that it's very bouncy. When I first started passing with this, it went higher than most volleyballs I've used. Because of this, you definitely have to be mindful of how you pass the ball and make sure that your ball control is on point. Although I recommend this for beginning setters, I don't recommend this for beginning passers because of the bounciness. An experienced player can adjust to the ball's bounciness, but beginners probably won't be able to. Mikasa's MVA200 is a good ball for beginning passers. However, the bounciness still doesn't take away from the other amazing qualities this ball has.I can't comment on the longevity since I've only owned it for a few weeks, but my friends who own this ball say that they've had it for years and haven't had any major issues with it. I'll update my review in a few months and comment on the condition of the ball. Mine came deflated, which wasn't too much of a problem because I own a pump. However, in the future, Amazon, please don't deflate balls before shipping them!Edit on October 19, 2015 - I've owned this for almost a year, and it's still holding up strong! It's much dirtier than it was when I first bought it, but that's not surprising since I use it multiple times a week. I like that I don't have to pump air into it frequently - I've only inflated it 3 times since buying it. Definitely worth purchasing if you play intermediate or advanced level volleyball.

I've played with this ball previously and I liked it so I decided to purchase one
I've played with this ball previously and I liked it so I decided to purchase one. Played with it the first night with no issues however when I got home I noticed that one of the panels started pealing away. I contacted Molten and after some back and forth (they wanted to see pictures of the ball and the valve) they're sending me a replacement hence the 4 starts instead of 5.As a ball, the grip is great for setting or passing with your hands and I actually had a few one had digs on line balls that worked out really well. If you are going to use your arms for passing, you must have a good platform or else this ball will make you pay. It's also a pretty reactive ball so if you're going to put any spin on the ball make sure you place it in the right spot.

Excellent volleyball
Bought this from the US as my stepson wanted the blue American version rather than the green. Fast delivery and excellent volleyball.

Not sure about quality of product
I bought the Red-Green-White ball version. After inflating the ball, there were folds still visible even after a few days. Also there were minor construction flaws. Finally size seems smaller than the official blue red white version. So I returned the ball. That being said, I cannot evaulate the performance of the product because I did not try it. Will possibly buy the blue red white version for the silghlty higher price.
