One of life's simple joys. πͺ [NorthHawk Wonder Stunt Kite]
Flying a kite on a nice day is one of life's simple joys. Children love them but the fun shouldn't be restricted to your youth. adults can & do enjoy the pastime too. In recent years I've been flying some more expensive "Airfoil" kites but the one time I've had this one from "π΅πππππ―πππ πΊππππ π²ππππ" out [π΅π©π¦ πΈπ¦π’π΅π©π¦π³ π©π’π΄π―'π΅ π£π¦π¦π― π¨π³π¦π’π΅ π§π°π³ πͺπ΅ ππ’π΅π¦ππΊ] I've had great fun & forgotten how much fun this style can be. I received the "πΎπππ ππ" colour scheme which has a harlequin appearance. It arrives in a tall, but narrow cardboard box. Inside there is a blue nylon bag for storage/transport of the kite. As well as the kite itself you get some spare parts in case of accidents. The Contents are: -πͺ1 x Partially Rigged Kiteπͺ6 x Long Struts. 2 to fly & 4 for sparesπͺ3 x Short Struts. 1 to fly & 2 for sparesπͺ6 x Joining Brackets. 2 to fly & 4 for sparesπͺ2 x Handles wound with 30 β High Strength Stringsπͺ1 x Paper Set Up Drawingπͺ1 x Instructionsπͺ1 x Storage Bag. πͺπ·ππππππππ πΉπππππ π²πππ. Assembled the kite measures 47" x 20"/120αΆα΅ x 50αΆα΅. Made of a lightweight polyester fabric with some rigging & poles attached. Assembly is very clear & only takes a few minutes. 1 short bracing bar spreads the kites apex, 2 long struts span the tail & the 2 joining brackets give the kite a 3D wind catching shape. Tie [π΄π¦π€πΆπ³π¦ππΊ] the flight strings in place & you're ready to go. disassembly is the reverse. You can ave the kite do various stunts like loop-the-loop, diving, angled swoops, sharp rises. It's very intuitive. There's no streamer tail with the kit but you could attach one easily. I Also fitted two lightweight strobes to the last one like this I had so that you could see it flashing as you flew it in dull light conditions. Really cant recommend having a play with one enough. There are less expensive ones out there but they'll likely end up in bits after the first crash landing, this one is a bit more robust. excellent value at Β£25.99.

Lost one of the T pieces on the first flight. I am a regular kite flyer. Disappointed.
Flimsy. I have a Peter Powell Sky Stunt kite which I have had for years. This is no match, nowhere near.

Simplistic design but not easy to handle
I got this kite for my kids who are 10 and 6 years old. This NorthHawk Stunt Kite has a very simple design that is quick to assemble and ready to fly within a few minutes.I was really pleased to see that it comes with a number of extras for almost every item. Later realised how important that is as after flying for an hour with my kids we did lose a few items during its crash landings. We flew it in a large open space and was a windy day so my kids struggle to keep it in the air for more than 10 sec, as the kite was very quick to fly up but then also come down at the same speed. I believe we would need a few more rounds to get used to it.Although my kids were not able to keep it up in the air for long however they enjoy the time and wanted to get better.Overall a fun day with the kite however I believe a more detailed guide or a small video with key tricks will be helpful for beginners.

Takes some getting used too!
Picture this. Its a sunny day and the wind is stronger than ever. The kids are bored and you want to have some fun bonding time with them. What better than this stunning kite by NorthHawk! Firstly, I found that it was so elegant in design and best of all, colourful! Meaning you will never loose site of it when its in the air or when it comes crashing down. It also comes with a lovely blue carry-bag so taking it to the park or storing it in your home will be easy.I found that the product quality was very good and the kite was robust. Even when it came crashing down for hours (since I was still getting used to it), the material and frame didn't fall apart one bit. I owned a cheap model years ago that would fall apart constantly and ended up being a kite covered in tape. Not the most attractive past time, eh?I would say that it will take some getting used too. You may have the kite crashing back down again after a few seconds but don't be disheartened as this is all part of the fun! I'm sure with some practice in the wind, you'll become a pro in no time! No faults, a 5 star kite at a good price!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Easy to set up
This is pretty easy to set up. The kite kit comes with everything you need and even has extra bits. Iβm not sure why you have the extra bits! Maybe in case of breakages? It is plastic so could be broken if bent tpo far. Make sure you donβt snap when you are putting it together). The product video is quite good to help with set up and the only fiddly bit is getting the string in. Once you have it all assembled youβre ready to fly.Itβs not too difficult to handle but it does take some practice. It took us a while to get into the swing of it and I think you canβt really use it if the wind is really strong or really weak.Compared to what else you can buy, I think itβs a fair price. Although possibly slightly on the pricey side.Itβs a decent size. Easy to carry around without disassembling.

Frustratingly tricky to control.
I was very excited to receive this kite, assembles easy enough with instructions. It looks great and includes a carry bag and spare parts ( which are essential). We have tried it out in a variety of locations in different windy conditions but frustratingly never got past the initial launch. It takes flight easy enough with 1 person holding the strings and another launching but when it gets into the air it spins, then more often than not crashes nose first resulting in the rods detaching. Though its easy enough to repair. It may well be down to my flying technique and I am not to be beaten so I will keep trying. But I would not recommend if you are flying your kite for relaxation purposes. I will need to do some more research to learn how to fly it- not for beginners.
