Brilliant
Having never needed or used an hdmi switch I first bought 1 from Amazon, albeit nearly half the price of this 1, but it was utter rubbish. However researching a device more I decided on this unit. It's fantastic, took me no more than a few seconds to set up and it performs perfectly. I only have 1 thing that I don't like and that relates to the remote control. There's no information about what the buttons do but once I've got to grips with it it'll be fine. BY the way it may be a generic remote control but since I've never had anything like this before I don't know how to use it properly.

The HDMI 2.1 switch you have been waiting for!
As an owner of several 4K 120Hz gaming devices and a 'top of the line' receiver, that has not yet had a firmware update to fully unlock all the features, combined with a TV that only has one 120Hz input, I was becoming frustrated at not being able to switch between devices without swapping cables. This is the switch that fixes all that!I hooked up my Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC to the switch and all devices now have 4K 120Hz HDR with variable refresh working too.Setup is a breeze and the box includes a remote, mounting bracket and an IR remote lead, so the switch can be easily hidden away out of sight, though I suggest some ventilation as the unit is quite warm to the touch after some time playing games at full bandwidth.Switching between devices is quick, with no delay noticeable that was introduced by the switch, and all the devices remember the resolution and settings between sessions which is a change from the other popular two-channel switch that seemed to reset the Xbox and PS5 to lower resolutions when not active.Atmos at 9.2.2 with Forza Horizon at full bore did not glitch at all, so I expect the 48Gbps throughput is probably accurate. The only two issues I've found is that the Samsung TV sometimes flickers when in Game Mode Auto, but that could be the TV as it also does that when running through the receiver on the Nintendo Switch, and it would have been nice if the HDMI port auto-selected the active device. That being said, the remote has direct access buttons for each channel, if you have an activity-based remote like a Harmony, it's easy to add to your sequence.Overall then, an excellent product and an easy 5/5 stars. Perfect for anyone who wants to add HDMI 2.1 switching with devices limited by ports, or people like me who are impatiently waiting for firmware updates.

Does what it says it should
I kind of rushed into this purchase and bought it on my phone without reading the description properly. Had I done so I would have realised it does not support auto switching. My fault entirely. It does say that right at the bottom of the description. It does work just fine, but I have to use the remote (supplied) or the buttons on the box itself to change inputs. I have reduced 3 inputs running up to my wall mount TV down to just one, which was my aim. The quality is excellent, it all works perfectly well ...it's just the no auto switching thing (my fault) that niggles away at me. I will keep this for now, but am likely to change to an auto switch device before too much longer if only to cut down on remotes on my chair arm ! If you dont mind no auto switch, then this is a great unit. I have told myself off and vow to use my PC to buy stuff in future lol.

Solved Issues with my PS5 !!!
I was using a 4K 60hz 4 way splitter, used this for few years, connecting my PS4,BluRay player, fire stick and Nvidia Shield, worked with no issues. My problems started when I sold my PS4 and purchased a PS5, while using my PS5 the picture would flicker off and on and the sound would drop off. After searching internet people with same issues cured it by replacing their hdmi leads with 2.1 4K 120hz leads. I ordered new hdmi leads, this helped but picture and sound still with occasional issues, after checking specs of my splitter I replaced it with this, this solved ALL my issues and picture and sound are now perfect.

High Pitched Buzzing Noise
I have been using the device for quite a while now, and it worked perfect for my purposes. Unfortunately, it has started making a very high pitched bussing noise coming from the box itself which is excruciatingly annoying. It's so loud I can hear it even with headphones on.

Works with my PS5 and PC
Having previously tried a cheaper UGREEN model that cut out intermittently, I am pleased to find that this works with both my PlayStation 5 and Nvidia RTX 4080 connected to my LG B1 TV. I can play at 4K 120Hz with HDR and VRR enabled on both. I have not tried the switch's eARC out; I use the TV's built-in media apps so my Sonos Beam gen 2 is connected directly to the TV by HDMI. Both the PS5 and PC are able to pass 7.1 surround through the the TV to the Sonos. The only nitpick I have is that it can take a good few seconds after switching inputs before it appears onscreen.

Works after swapping hdmi port
I am using this switch with a Sony Inzone M9 monitor, I have an Apple TV 4K, xbox series s and Nintendo switch plugged into the hub.I 1st installed the switch by plugged in into HDMI port 1 on my monitor, the issue I experienced was the Apple TV would not play anything back in hdr, I got a drm error message and the Xbox defaulted to 1 resolution only and did not allow me to change which was 640x480.Both the Apple TV and xbox would work with no issue at all directly plugged into hdmi port one on the monitor, I did check the M9 support docs on the hdmi ports and both ports showing the same hdmi 2.1I decided to try the switch plugged into hdmi port 2 on my monitor and low and behold working, still to this day unsure why it works in hdmi port 2 and not port 1 when both ports meant to be the same. There is 1 issue with this switch hence why I have marked it down, if I play my Xbox in 120hz a black screen appears for a few seconds randomly, this does not happen if I set the Xbox to 60hz, also 120hz works fine if the Xbox is plugged directly into the monitor. Please note my issue maybe just related to the Sony Inzone M9, these issue may not appear when using on a different screen.
