Might be a little too complex for my aquarium. I only have Central American Cichlids, but I wanted to simulate a river system.**turn off night mode! If you do not have good enough lighting for the sensor to pick up light it will stay in a calm mode of operation. You will not be able to change any of the settings if it is night mode**

I purchased two of these items, and initially, I was quite pleased with their performance and how easily they connected. However, their performance deteriorated over time. They frequently stopped working, requiring me to unplug and replug them multiple times before they would function again. Currently, only one of them is operational. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend these as it feels like a waste of money due to the fact they will ultimately fail quickly.

I have this power head in my 90g reef tank and it has plenty of flow! I dont even run it at full power.

I ordered the smaller version at first but they just weren't enough. I upgraded to these and using 2 in my 55 gallon was too powerful. I ended up using one large and one slightly smaller. Since I run several reef tanks I will be using the extra in a different tank. These are powerful and setting are adjustable with many different options. I linked mine so they work together and any adjustments can be made from same control board. Good value for a budget reefer!

Sent used product damaged mounting pad missing sponge cover you definitely need that woke up in the morning to my fish I just bought sucked into the pump and to top it off I found out the feed mode doesn’t operate I had to unplug it to stop beating his corpseIs it strong yes it was on lowest settingControls are difficult use and or to under stand with out a manual I didn’t receive and feed mode not workingYou may like it, it is strong mostly what I was looking forButI Have to buy a box to even send it back so you can try it next, asks for original package lol Amazon

All my photos have my custom printed safety guard installed. Sorry no shots without.This seems like a great wavemaker so far. I have had a great experience with their return pump so I got this. The unit runs quiet without vibration. moves a ton of water. The controller is rubbish but works ok. I have this on an Oceanic 120 4' wide tank and I have it running at 1/20 without need to turn it up yet. A nice wavemaker with lots of features. I love the light sensor where it slows down the pump at night and powers up during the day.But unfortunately motor died after 22months.

Item arrived as promised. Item’s flow was too strong for my 75g reef tank. Only set to a quarter of flow to keep sand from blowing over everything. This item is definitely good for up to a 180g aquarium.

The power head has good volume but the controller just doesn’t work right. It’s hard to shut off and changing programs are a fight to get done
