My grandson was THRILLED when he got this!A relative had given him one but it kept coming apart.I had the order addressed to him, which he was wild about, and he’s added it to his collection — he knows more about construction vehicles than anyone else I know.

These trucks are perfect for our 3 1/2 year old grandson. He has several and plays for hours with them. I would not consider them an outdoor toy though. They will last longer in the house I think (except the firetruck that does pump water). They are a little on the pricey side but well worth it. They are made in Germany! Not China so I feel I can trust they are made out of less toxic materials.

My 3 year old grandson adores all trucks. Bruder makes the most durable of all.This road roller will be added on his 4th birthday for his collection to work in the dirt.

It keeps him busy as do all his bruder trucks!

Got this for a preschooler and the toy is a hit. The picture and the related video provided by the vendor give you the information much better than a review can - but up close the toy looks and works even better. Ultimately - the important part is - the kid loves it and plays with it often and for extended periods of time.It is made of high quality strong plastic that looks and feels quite durable, the colors are great and quality and workmanship-wise there is a whole world of difference between this made in Germany item and all the junk I have seen on store shelves coming from the lowest bidder in China. You do get the feeling of precision engineering and manufacturing. The attention to details and high quality construction also put my mind at ease that the money was well spent.

He asked for a "roller" for Christmas (we have a large number of road projects in the vicinity of our neighborhood and he sees them all the time). I was glad Amazon carried this Bruder toy and it was a big hit at Christmas for a 3 year old. As the adult, I was very impressed with the workmanship and detail in a child's toy. As the child, he loves gripping it and rolling over anything in his path. Overall size is smaller than other Bruder machines, but watching real rollers interact with bulldozers, the scale is correct. Rollers are smaller than other machines on the road project.
