Review: I've had this for only a couple of days, but, I can say now, for at least first impressions, that this product is awesome for my 2004 Lexus RX330 key blade, and electronics. I'll focus mostly on fit, finish, and putting it together. For me, all aspects of fit, and finish are terrific. There are no gaps or anything. The key blade is held in nice, and firmly. The 3 button openings align wonderfully with the three buttons. There are no gaps after sealing. It looks extremely similar to, and feels at least as good as, the original Lexus key fob casing. After reading some earlier reviews, I was slightly concerned about fit as some people said it was off a bit. That may have indeed been the case. However, this could also be a function of how people put everything together. When I first started putting things together, I was concerned about the fit. But, for me, this was a function of how I put things together. Once I "got it right," all was wonderful. Some notes from my experience: 1) The Key Blade - a) make sure that you get any, and all old plastic remnants off of the base of the key blade; and, of course, remove the screw from the key blade base!!! Retain the screw to reuse it if it is in good condition, and if you want. The product package included a new screw, and you could use that too. b) the base of the key blade may not easily slide into the smaller plastic part in which the key blade base is to be placed; I could not get it all the way in with my hand pressure/force; it is a tight fit!!!! In retrospect, this strikes me as a good thing because a nice tight fit means less chance that this plastic part will break in the future!!! I placed the key blade on a counter, with blade pointing up, covered the plastic part with some cushiony material, and then lightly, but firmly enough, tapped the plastic part down until it enveloped the key blade base, and the hole (for the screw) of the key blade base was clearly visible, and accessible through the hole of the plastic part. c) don't put the screw in yet!!! 2) The Electronics Casing a) how to put in correctly the electronics is obvious!!! The three buttons for the electronics need to align with the three holes of the plastic casing part (that has the three holes)!!! b) notice that the INSIDE of the lower part of one of the two parts of the casing has a slight protrusion (for where a screw can enter). Also notice that the plastic base containing the key blade has a larger hole on one side, and a smaller hole on the other side. When placing the plastic base with the key blade base into the casing, make sure that the large hole of the plastic base is on the same side as, or aligned with, the casing protrusion. This is critical because if you don't line it up this way, I can't imagine that you'll be able to close the two casing pieces together for a good tight, clean fit. c) closing the casing can be a little tricky. I couldn't line then up flush, and then snap them in. I believe the casing is designed to be closed by placing one piece of casing slightly off/higher than the other, and then sliding it down into the locking position. That worked for me. d) With everything sealed up nicely, now put the screw in through the outer casing, the plastic key blade base, and the key blade. Turn it until it is firmly in. But, don't crank it as hard as you can if this might lead to stripping the screw!!! FYI, I used my original Lexus screw, and my own screw driver. But, the seller included a screw, and a screw driver for the job!!!
