No One Gets Out Alive

Could not even read the book. Pages were torn and stained. So disappointing. And the book description said it was supposed to be like new.

The plot was good, but the story was stretched too long, there was too much explanation which was unnecessary plus the start was insanely slowbut the overall concept of the story is good

What a ride! Had me on the edge of my seat. Adam Neville has a knack for dread and atmosphere and this book is so evocative of gloom, doom and horror that you feel depressed/thrilled/horrified/ while you're reading it. It's what a proper horror novel should be. You engage with the main character, hate the nasties, love the goodies, and just when you think it's all over there's a bit at the end that steps up the horrific and brings us to the final denouement. Brilliant.

I looked for this book after seeing the film advertised on Netflix. I always like to read before watching and it was a cheap. Absolutely loved it, incredible book at a very fair price. Film is very loosely based on it and doesn’t do it justice. Series following the book storyline would be phenomenal

Don’t get me wrong, this book was great. I thought it was a genuinely interesting take on the haunted house genre and had some important social and political points to make too.But my God was it scary in places! It’s not often I want to sleep with the light on after reading a spooky book but this one just about did it.

Am about a third of the way through this book and to be honest it is not really gripping my attention as NOTHING is happening. I keep reading around 2 chapters per night but it's not getting any better. (Shows how bad it is as I can read forever!!!) It's not gory which is good, but it's also not horror, it's not even a good read and I am so disappointed as the reviews were good.

Ooooo....spooky and scarey...!If you like creepy books t,his is for you.Some may find it banal but it does keep ones attention....just go with it.I sincerely hope there aren’t people as horrid as that in real life....!He writes well and is similar in approach to the Master ....Stephen King.
