Enjoyed this coloring book! Very pretty pics

I have a lot of adult coloring books and the art in this is one of my favorites. I liked it so much I went back and bought all of the artist’s coloring books. Paper: Thin BUT it is a bristol vellum and has the perfect tooth for coloring pencils. Pencil: Prismas work amazingly beautiful in this book. Media: Dry media is recommended. It says it in the intro page I began coloring (pic included). I recommend pencil but you can try other media with a blotting page (images are one-sided). I recommend this book. Hope you have as much fun as I do.

I am hopelessly in love with the artist's illustrations, but I HATE this paper. I would be happy to repurchase a new copy if we could just get it on some mixed media paper or even just some thicker paper with a little bit of tooth. This paper is thin, which can present problems if you want to use markers or any type of wet media. But it also isn't fantastic for my pencils. RJ Hampson's wonderful art deserves better paper. Now watch me go buy all of the other books anyway... the illustrations are just that adorable! Who else would give us a cricket on a Harley with monster flowers? I'm in love

Paper was good, images are enjoyable to color and love the hardcover to the book makes coloring in book easy no matter where you are.

This book is very interesting. As an adult colorer, I sometimes get very tired of imagery brimming with flower. It's not that I dislike flowers, coloring them just gets a little tedious. Especially since I don't have full dexterity, all the tiny details on flowers can just get overwhelming, even boring. This book also features some cool buildings and other structures. And, oh so much more besides flowers. It also features the adorable Mr. Fogherty's first appearance. Unfortunately, this book does display one of my coloring pet peeves: unfinished patterns. That is when the artists randomly draws in things like bricks, stones, scales, or boards (and so on). Artists: I don't draw. Please draw in all the bricks, scales, and so on. If the pattern is randomly drawn in, or is indistinct, I don't color or buy. If the patterns are completely filled in, I will bite. For those that like the obligatory (nearly cliche?) peacock adult coloring page, there is one in this this book. Overall, I'm surprisingly pleased with this purchase. Especially since I prefer Amazon paper over some others. Thank you, Mr. Hampson.

Very nice adult coloring book, nice graphics and good paper.

Love R.J. Hampson's books! I personally prefer to color in these books with alcohol markers. Just be sure to place a blank piece of paper between the pages if you decide to do the same. I like the double images as it gives me a chance to try different color combinations and provides a back-up in case of mistakes.

But the hardback if you are coloring with anything more than colored pencils or "junk" materials. Amazon paper is lackluster and will make you mad; the hardback has better paper within and will be worth the hours you put into coloring it. IMO.

Another fantastic book illustrated by R.J. Hampson that is full of beautiful illustrations that combine whimsy and nature . These illustrations are relaxing to colour and the variation in the amount of detail within different illustrations lends itself to any skill level or preferred style of colouring. The set of duplicate prints contain enough of a variation enabling the colourist to create a second version with a totally different atmosphere. Though the paper is quite thin, all illustrations are single sided, so it is well suited for alcohol markers as well as coloured pencils. I would recommend this book to anyone who has any interest in colouring no matter what skill level.

This is one of my favorite artist, He always created amazing design's who are so joyable to color, and this book is full of Fabulous scenes love every pages from that book so yes i highly recommend this book who everyones will discover fantasy & MagicaL World of each coloring books this phenomenal illustrator created.

最初に本の手触り。 本に触れると少しヌルリとしたなんとも言えない感触がします。 中の絵は欲しいものがあったのでいいのですが、やけにページが多く厚い感じ。 よく確かめると同じ絵が3枚ずつありました。 同じものばかりでなく違うものを入れるか薄くして価格を下げて欲しいと思いました。
