Great product and customer service
When I received it was missing the drip grill.. the company went out of their way to make sure I received it. That alone shows the quality. Aside from that the product was well worth it in my opinion. Very nice and am super pleased with it!

Excellent wok!
This is a great wok. Iโve been using it for half a year, and once it is well seasoned, it performs even better than a non-stick pan. When oiled, it shines like a mirror, and you can cook almost anything without worrying about a mess. It is a very healthy product, as thereโs no concern about harmful components sometimes associated with non-stick coatings. The wok is light enough to handle easily, and the package includes more tools than neededโalmost everything you could ask for. Iโve truly enjoyed using this wok over the past half year. Great wok. Love it.

Great Budget Wok But Obviously Not Hand-Hammered
TLDR: If you want a solid carbon steel wok for around $40, this is a fantastic starter option. Just donโt buy it expecting a real hand-hammered wok. Pros - Excellent value for the price - Good carbon steel wok that seasons well - Large cooking surface - Useful starter accessories included Cons - Not actually hand hammered (misleading listing) - Flimsy wok ring - Cheap utensils WOK Overall I think this wok is a great value for the price but the โhand hammeredโ description is just not true. Thatโs the main reason Iโm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. HAND-HAMMERED CLAIM First, letโs address the biggest claim: this wok is OBVIOUSLY not hand hammered. A true hand-hammered wok will have visible hammer marks or small divots across the metal surface from the manual forging process. This wok is machine pressed and the surface is smooth with no hammer pattern. That doesnโt make it a bad wok at all, it just means the listing isnโt accurate. If youโre curious about what real hand-hammered woks look like, I highly recommend checking out Jon Kung on YouTube, who does a great deep dive explaining wok construction. As he points out, there are only two Chinese manufacturers that produce authentic hand-hammered woks imported into the U.S.: Oxenforge and ZhenSanHuan. Their woks typically run $130โ$250+, which makes sense because true hand hammering is labor-intensive. At $39.99, this Teewe wok clearly isnโt in that category. That said, for the price itโs actually an excellent buy. The carbon steel heats up quickly, seasons well, and works exactly how a wok should once you get a good seasoning layer on it. ACCESSORIES The included accessories, however, are very much budget quality: The stainless steel wok ring is extremely light and flimsy. It also doesnโt have grooves to lock it onto a gas burner grate, so it tends to slide around. The spoons and spatulas feel very cheap and mine were already starting to loosen after the first use. You also get plastic chopsticks, a utensil rack that sits on the wok, an instruction manual, and a bamboo cleaning brush; which are a nice addition. Honestly, at this price point I expected the accessories to be cheap, so I donโt really count that against the wok itself. WOK RING UPGRADE One thing I do recommend upgrading is the wok ring. I replaced the included one with a cast iron wok ring from Charbrofire on Amazon, which has grooves that lock onto the stove grates and is much heavier and more stable. That upgrade made a big difference when cooking. CONCLUSION Overall, great wok for $39.99, just be aware of what youโre actually getting. I also recorded a video review showing the surface of the wok and explaining the difference between machine-pressed and true hand-hammered woks to help others make an informed decision.

Excellent wok
I was considering investing in a $200 authentic hand-hammered wok but decided it would be wise to test out a more affordable option first to evaluate its performance. This wok matched the size I needed, and the included tools at such an unbeatable price were hard to resist. When it arrived, the wok had a stunning pearly silver finish. Following the advice from various online tutorials, I seasoned it properly. After seasoning, the wok transformed into a gorgeous black-purple-brown hue. The weight feels perfect, and Iโm excited to create some incredible meals with it. A tip for prospective buyers: disregard images of woks rusting or being labeled "defective"โthese cases often result from improper seasoning. To season correctly, thoroughly clean the wok before starting, apply multiple thin layers of a high smoke point oil, and ensure both the interior and exterior are oiled. After each use, avoid using soap; simply rinse with hot water and scrub gently with a mild abrasive if needed. If soap is necessary, use it sparingly and reapply a light coat of oil before storing. Even if your wok becomes completely rusted, itโs still salvageable with some effort, salt, and oil

First wok
This is my first carbon steel wok and the seasoning process was straightforward with the video instruction and it's seasoned well to a non-stick surface. It's a little heavy but mostly that's good because it stays evenly hot and stable on the supplied burner ring base. I use mostly the supplied spatula for turning the fried rice I'm making right now. I've had nothing stick to it and the cleanup is easy, you have to put hot water in it and use the supplied brush to clean off any old oil and then just dry it with paper towels. I then heated up again and do a little bit of seasoning with new oil before putting it away. One thing that is necessary is to affix the supplied wok ring to the stove somehow... I figured this out by making two little small holes on the stove top which is an older stove but with good gas burners and used a little bit of thin wire to fasten it to the top. For all you're getting here can't really beat the value especially because it is a well made traditional wok with all the accessories included.

Rusted after just 1 use
Horrible! I used the wok 1x and hand washed and dried it afterwards. Last night I used it for a 2nd time and noticed a small rust spot. I used it anyway, and washed/dried it afterwards, but didnโt put it away, so that I could see how it looks overnight. It is a horrific rusty mess and no longer just a small rust spot. I will never be able to use again.

Will rust very quickly, get the stainless steel version
Does its job as a wok, but gets rusty very easily and fast after washing hence must be dried right away

Wok itself is great, nice welding, nice chunky wooden handle, seasoned up well. Follow the included seasoning instructions and you will be happy. The wok by itself is worth it. Consider everything else a bonus. The tools are acceptable and made from stamped stainless, but they are sharp so need to be dulled so they don't scrape or catch on the wok. Their handles are plastic with simulated wood grain that some people might find ugly, but they are functional. If they last long enough that the plastic wears out I will simply fashion some new handles from wood. The draining grate is made from nice thick stainless steel. A lid is not included in this set, which was actually good for me as I don't need another lid, and other sets either include junky wood lids or lids the incorporate glass which is always scary to have in a lid. The wok stand may work on some stoves but it is cheap and light so may slide around depending on your setup. My (Samsung) stove included a removable heavy duty cast iron wok stand that locks in place, which is far nicer, but this would work in a pinch. Again, consider it a bonus as the wok itself is worth the $60 paid for the whole set.

This wok is a dream come true for me. It comes with the factory oil finish on bare metal. I seasoned it in the oven, before I installed the handle. Using lard to season while hot, it took just over 5 hours start to finish. It took longer to heat up initially than I anticipated and cools down enough to handle bare handed in about 10-15 minutes. The wok has a great steel weight allowing for those high temperatures to get that crisp finish. The handle socket is welded all around making a secure fit. I fit my handle while the pan was 450โฐ and used a wooden mallet to set it into place. The wok handle is painted wood with a good circumference for the average hand , fitting very well into the socket for a secure fit. The wok is worth the price especially for those that don't like artificial non stick cooking surfaces like many on the market have. I can see this piece lasting many years of heavy use. As mentioned by others the tools are a bonus, not the greatest quality and a bit underwhelming. The handles are plastic, but they are riveted and the metal is flexible enough to twist. And yes they are rough at the edges and they will scratch the wok. I will be picking up some emery cloth to take down the edge enough to prevent further damage. 5 stars for the wok 3 stars for the bonus tools.

If this is your first wok, make sure you read and follow the directions for seasoning it before you use it. After you use it make sure to maintain the seasoning properly as well. There are lots of tutorials online too. This is a piece of cookware you've got to maintain properly or else food will stick to it and it will rust to bits. Very solid, very durable, and heats very evenly. Fantastic wok overall, and with a price this low it's really batting out of its league. The only slight downside I noticed was my handle is the tiniest bit jiggly when the wok is very hot due to thermal expansion, and I wish it was just a little lighter so it would be easier to toss - which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
