Wicked Shredder!
I purchased this bad boy for my wife’s home office. Let me start off by saying this thing shreds harder than Andy Brinker from the 1998 classic film Brink. For those of you who don’t know, this 99 min film introduced some of the most unique roller blade shredding ever witnessed. Purchase this and you can be shredding like Andy in no time!Update** after using the the shredder my wife has been walking around the house being very confrontational. She now says things like “Bruh, do you even shred!?” For this reason I have to deduct one star.

Good quality, no complaints after few months' use
{OVERHEATING}I have used this several times now, feeding in 1 piece of plastic/ thick paper at a time, or up to 4 pieces of regular paper together, and have never experienced any overheating. It was also able to shred a rectangular piece of thin plastic with no problems (cut-out of confidential details from online shopping delivery bag) I have not tried feeding in 8 sheets at once or more than one thick sheet at once and probably will not attempt this - I do not believe in challenging my tools unnecessarily.{SETTINGS}It comes in two pieces, the bin (bottom) and the shredding component (top). You put them together and plug it in, there's a reverse (REV), auto (AUTO) and off (OFF) setting. The auto setting will start running as it senses sheets being fed in, if you have uneven thickness or jagged edge materials you have to fold a crisp edge and feed that end in or it will not be able to detect the presence of the item.{LINING THE BIN}I have used this with a plastic grocery store bag to line the bin with no problems. The blades do not reach the circumference of the bin so there is no snagging issues. The bin is taller than most grocery store bags so there will be empty space at the bottom. In my experience some shredders can get pieces of paper stuck at the two farthest ends of the feed intake, I do not know if this machine has that issue but looking at the design I suspect it would, perhaps this is why so many people complain of it overheating (paper stuck in blades on either end, causing more resistance for the motor to overcome). Because of this, I avoid feeding a full 8.5 inch edge into this machine, instead I fold all 8.5 inch and greater edges in half or rip the item in half and feed the smaller halves.

Update. Poor quality. Already malfunctioned
User friendly. Good quality for my money. Truly luv itUpdate Jan 2021.This is the 2nd time the machine stop working. First happened in spring 2021 but started working again. It stopped working 2nd time November 2021. I allowed it to rest until now. Worked for an envelope and stopped shortly after. Works in reverse but not to shredded. It clearly has an defective. Don't waste your money with this brand

Worked for less than 1yr, then randomly started to turn on and wouldn't stop
I bought those sheets that keep the blades lubricated and sharp but no matter what it will work for a few cuts than for no apparent reason just turn on after not being used for weeks, sometimes it wakes me up because its loud. I tried to clean it with all types of methods, including those amazon sell to maintain shredders, I always used compressed air to clean the sensor and while it doesnt have a single piece of paper visible in either the slot for paper/card or the metal teeth, it still just turns on. It often does it after a cleaning, but not immediately, weeks later, at ridiculously unpredictable times. I went to far as to see if a spec of dust was enough but its not as I put it in a plastic bag and made sure it was sealed. I now use it as a garbage can

A really great product
Very good home shredder. It can take up to 8 sheets, but I usually just go with 6. It will stop working if something gets stuck, and usually you can unplug it and just remove the extra paper that got it stuck and continue. Just a little note though, it stucks everytime it tries to shred something with glue on it (like stickers), so you might want to remove those and tear them by hand (no problem with envelopes though).
