I have been using this for the last 18 months for my 12.5 year old Labrador. She has acute arthritis and this medicine works wonders. Earlier I would mix it with her food but when she refused to eat food due to a stomach infection, I had stopped this medicine for four days, and my dog at the end of the 4th day was unable to walk, her hind legs kept collapsing. I then reverted to putting the tablet directly into her throat and within a day, she could stand and in three days she was able to walk. This medicine will not cure arthritis but has enabled my furry friend to lead a dignified life, enabling her to get up and walk slowly and do her chores while sniffing all that there is to sniff.
