This is plainly a ripoff scam! The product I received was NOT the product shown here! I received a very flimsy piece of nylon with HOLES IN IT and a SNAG/TEAR! It has no strap, which I guess isn't necessary, but this will fall apart within 3 times of using it because it is flimsy, came with several holes and snags on each piece, and I know from past experience that it will fall apart. When our old shades started to get holes from years of wear, they deteriorated very quickly. This looks like some cheap rip off imported from a third world country! I'm amazed that Amazon would even deal with this seller!Not only that, but the thing came wrapped in a flimsy plastic bag! This is so obviously a bait-and-switch...in my opinion, Amazon shouldn't even do business with them.And the final piece of icing on the cake? This came with a note BEGGING me not to write a bad review until I had contacted them first! So, I tried to contact them with the number they provided and when I did, no answer. All I got was a Sprint voicemail - FOR ANOTHER NUMBER! So, the number they give for contact isn't even the number you end up calling!BUYER BEWARE! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!***UPDATE***I was so upset by this that I contacted Amazon, who in turn contacted the seller on my behalf. Within a few hours, the company had refunded my payment and apologized. While I would never again buy from this company, based solely upon the inferior product, both Amazon customer service and this seller's customer service was outstanding. Unfortunately, while I will mention it in this review as a definite plus, it does not affect my overall rating, which I am basing solely on the product itself.

This is a pretty neat and efficient item. I recommend making sure that you get the right size for your car. The one I bought was a tad too small, but I make it work by lowering the visors to keep it in place. It keeps it cool and it's real easy to roll it into a circle to store when not in use. It's not the highest in quality but it does the trick!

Basix is a good name as it does the basic job of keeping the dash from being egg-fry hot. Material is really thin so not sure how it will last. 7 bucks is probably a good price.

It is too small to fit the windows of my Chevy Silverado. Would be better for a smaller vehicle.

These are well constructed however the sun causes VOC to evaporate from the material fogging the windshield which is difficult to remove. Mylar is a far superior sun shade material, but I have been unable to sun shades of this material anymore.

It fits in the window of my 2009 Mazda 3 and blocks sun sufficiently. I bought one of these about three years ago and it worked great everyday until the wind blew it out of my car when the door was open. For the price this is a great product and helps keep the car cooler during the day. The previous one was still in great shape even after all that use.

works perfectly - having owned these same type of sun shades before I knew what to expect and this one was no different. Fits my windshield great, in fact I don't even need to fold down my visors because they are somewhat larger than the windshield and just are held in place by the tension. using them on a 2012 Rav4 and they are perfect

Good quality for the price. Pay attention to size if you have a big windshield, it was a little smaller than I expected.
