VCR Head Cleaner Tape for VHS/VCR Players, Dry Type Reusable Video Head Cleaner

I've used both wet and dry cleaners in the past. This dry cleaner works as well as anything I've tried. I used it to clean the heads of two machine that are each over 20 years old. The before and after picture was noticeably better once I used this product. Some reviews for some products of this ilk talk about the cleaning tape somehow jamming and ruining their VCRs. That did not happen to me with this product. Fingers crossed going forward.

The vcr head cleaner works excellently well. I have an older vcr player that needed a serious clean. I'll test my older system to see if any of my VHS tapes still work.

I purchased two of these. The first one arrived and had obviously been used at least twice and then returned. I know this because the box had been previously opened, and two of the label numbers had been crossed off. I was able to return that one and the kind Amazon staff member whom I chatted with ordered a replacement which was delivered the next day. This one was brand new, but after at least four tries to get it to work, I gave up. Each time I pressed play, it ran for about 1 second then stopped. I tried to rewind, but it would shut the VCR off. A couple times the VCR would power off as soon as I pressed play as well. I'm going to go with a different product.

It cleaned the VCR right away and we were able to watch our old favorite tapes

I don't understand why it's not working. Maybe I should gotten the 'wet' tape.

I undertook a process that I delayed for many years this summer: I am digitizing nearly 200 VHS tapes that I made since I purchased the first consumer video cassette player/recorder in 1979. After several dozen tapes, I noticed a lot of interference in my transfer utility. I purchased this VHS cleaner, ran it once through my VHS machine, and the problem cleared up immediately. I am very happy with this cleaner and it apparently is good for a few dozen uses so I expect it will continue to be helpful for a long time to come.

Presa per i miei 2 videoregistratori vhs... che dire, pulisce benissimo le testine e fa il suo lavoro a dovere. sulla videocassetta troverete dei numeri piccoli, in pratica sono le volte che la si può utilizzare per pulire le testine, dopodichè dovrete acquistarne un'altra perchè temo che questa diventa inutilizzabile e se utilizzata ulteriormente, potrebbero danneggiarsi le testine.

Je l'ai acheté pour remettre en marche un vieux magnétoscope pour lire mes k7 J'ai dû mettre 3 fois la k7 nettoyante pour le faire repartir ça m'a l'air bien tout refonctionne à voir dans le temps Enfin un k7 nettoyante qui fonctionne

Put in the new video cleaning tape but it shut down the video recorder before I can play it but when a put in a ordinary tape it will Play is there a problem with the new cleaning tape
