Genuine product for doing a CVT fluid change
The general recommendation for Suby CVT transmissions is to do a partial fluid change at 60,000 miles. This job entails removing the drain plug and replacing the fluid drained out. The TR580 transmission actually holds about 12 quarts, but only a bit less than half is removed and replaced with this method. You are diluting the remaining original fluid new stuff containing all the friction modifiers and additives that your transmission depends on the work smoothly.

Gotta have it to keep warranty up....
Great oil, only oil recommended by Subaru (of course) to keep warranty up, but it's ridiculously expensive ! Even compared to a trusted brand like Valvoline, it's pricey for the average consumer. This company had it for the most reasonable price I could find anywhere (shipping included), order arrived timely & safe, so I would confidently purchase from them again if price is still lower than other sources.

Change your Subaru CVT transmission fluid every ~30,000 miles
Original CVT fluid for Subaru products. This is specifically made for the TR580 CVT transmission. If you are wondering which transmission you have in your Subaru, open the PASSENGER door and look at the bottom of the door frame and you'll see a Spec sticker which contains the color of the paint, transmission model, and etc. If you have a 4 cylinder engine, then most likely your Subaru transmission is a TR580. If the sticker indicates your car has a TR690 transmission, THIS FLUID IS NOT FOR YOUR CAR. When I change the fluid, it normally will take a bit more than 4 quarts to replace what drained out. There are several YouTube videos on how to do it.
