Hermitshell Hard EVA Case Fits Wacom Cintiq 13HD Interactive Pen Display (DTK1300)

Looking for a case for my cintiq pro, I came across this and took a risk. For the money, the case was what I was hoping in both size wise and quality. The shell is fairly durable/hard (but not plastic, it is still fabric). I have not used it extensively yet so I still do not know how it will hold up in use - but over all construction and quality seems spot on.The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the smell. Burning rubber would be preferable scent. The smell is unidentifiable and strong. I febreezed it immediately, shoved drier sheets in it, and shoved it outside for a while. The smell is still there. Keep in mind I did just open this only about 12 hrs ago. I think once the smell dissipates, this case could easily be five star worthy.

Not quite what I was expecting, the 'hard shell' is more flimsy than I would like it to be. I would like it to be more sturdy, as it is right now I don't know if I feel comfortable trusting this product to be shock absorbent, I'm going to want to carry this case inside of another pack. It also only has the room for the cintiq inside (I have the cintiq 13HD touch) and you can 'kinda' fit the power cord inside too but you can tell it's not supposed to fit.So yeah. Just for those of you thinking of purchasing. It looks like it will offer some sort of support, but I also think for the money I could've found something slightly better.

It's not super padded, so I wouldn't go throwing it into a bag or suitcase. I don't have the space on my desk to have my Cintiq set up all the time, so I'm using it to keep my tablet safe while it's not in use, and I think it does that job well.

I took a gamble and ordered this for my Cintiq Pro 13 and it not only fits perfectly, it also has just e'nif room for the pen and pen holder installed. This isn't a hard, rigid case but it is offers superb protection (even better than Wacom's case which I really like). This is superb.
