I was looking for the perfect exfoliant for my sensitive skin. This scrub is non-irritating to my sensitive skin and works very well. I like that it is made with natural ingredients. After use, my skin is very clean, hydrated and glows.

MAY COOP Face Scrub Raw CleanserThis cleanser says it is for daily use but if you have super sensitive skin like I do, maybe once or twice a week is enough. This is like a mini microdermabrasion scrub. My skin felt wonderful if not a bit raw after using this. You only need a tiny amount and just add a bit of water and rub it around your face, avoiding your eyes. There is silica and walnut shell powder with are both manual exfoliants. It removed any dead skin and made my skin feel super smooth.There is a light scent that is very clean. The box comes safety sealed and there is also a foil seal on the tube. This facial scrub has a fine grain and a pleasant scent. I can't really place the sent. It's slightly floral but still fresh. The name may be a little off-putting and strange, but it's Korean, so that kind of explains it. There is a label on the box with directions in English and the ingredients. An insert in the carton is completely in Korean. Although the item title says it's a daily cleanser, the carton says to use it 2-3 times a week. I would definitely recommend only 2-3 times a week due to the density of the grains. Daily exfoliators tend to have less grains in them. I have used May Coop's Raw Sauce previously, which is a toner/lotion, and this is in the series. I found that this scrub is very moisturizing. I used it after my normal cleanser and I felt like it left a thick film on my face. We have hard water that is softened, so currently our water is on the softer side. I felt like I had to rinse a lot to get the film off. I was tempted to wash with my cleanser again because I just didn't like the feel. I have combination oily skin and I'm used to washing until my face squeaks. I used this in the morning and followed with my normal skin routine. When I showered later that night, I felt that my face still had a residue on it which was removed by my normal cleanser.

Sometimes I just don't want to bother with a cleanser and a scrub, too. I have a few combo cleanser-scrub tubes tucked away, but not one of them was perfect. In the recent past, I reordered several that I liked, just to find that the ratio of particles to cleanser had changed...... So I'm always looking.And I found this. And jumped right on it. I really like it a lot. It has exfoliation grains that are just the right size and have just the right texture. The ratio of cleanser gel to grains is perfect! The product is just the right density and thickness. It does not drip off my fingertips. It is not too thick to scoop. It is just right. It smells good. It rinses easily. It does not get stuck in my hair line.It's in a tube, too. Not a jar. So, it's easy to use in the shower. And you don't need a lot for the scrub to be effective.I guess some people find value in scrubs, and some have skin that is too sensitive for them--and there are other exfoliating products for those delicate skins. But I love the feel of an invigorating scrub and I also love the slippery feel of a gel cleanser. I love the two together when my time is short. I love a decent lather, too, and I want nothing to do with "unscented'. This product from May Coop was a gem of a find for me!As an afterthought: I don't need to use this every day. Just for comparison: This contains a stronger grit and a thicker gel than Neutrogena products.

Love this scrub, but I would not use it more than once a week. It really sloughs off the surface skin cells, so be sure to moisturize after and DON’T RUB TOO HARD WHEN WASHING YOUR FACE! Just feather-light touch is needed.
