For the price and flavor easy 5star
I saw some reviews talking about the water drip . And sure it happens from time to time . I use about 10 of these pods a day in my home . And maybe 1 or 2 out of 100 cups tear and have that weird slow drip . But you have to keep in mind the price is drastically lower and the flavor for the money has made this brand my go-to for the last 5yrs ... for me easy 5star when I account for the flavor/ price and strenth of the coffee

Not quite the flavor I had hoped for.
I was trying to find an alternative to the Nespresso pods at a lower price. Bestpresso offered that, but I had no way of testing the taste. When they got here, in good time, I tried one and found it lacking in fullness, body and flavor. However, I also found I can use two pods for one cup of coffee that has a decent flavor, and still come out ahead financially. Not bad, and this is only the first of two batches I bought, so I will see what the Columbia does. Overall a good experience, but I will keep on searching for that perfect fullness and taste!

Wow! These are great and so much cheaper!
After receiving my order and going through at least 20 pods already, I’m really questioning whether the negative reviews are genuine or inserted to sabotage a competitor. I have not had one issue with these pods. I am so impressed with the taste and that they are a fraction of the cost of the Nespresso brand pods. I say that’s a win & I highly recommend them!

The new silver pods make my machine leak!!
I have been using this exact coffee for over 3 years. My latest shipment had silver aluminum pods instead of yellow aluminum pods. I am not saying the color matters here, but... from the first silver pod, my machine acted funny. I would hit the button to brew, and it would go normal for a few seconds, but then it would made a loud noise and the coffee was coming out much faster and lighter. I thought it was weird, but I tried another one. Same thing. Then I tried a decaf (blue pod) and it was perfect. So I went back to a silver, same problem. So, I have a huge box of coffee now, that is give me this issue. So I problem solve, and just try to make it work. I stand there, and stop the brew as soon as it starts the noise, and start it up again. This works. Annoying but it works. Yesterday, I am making my coffee and I notice water dripping on the platform that my Nespresso machine is on. I pick up the machine, and its soaking wet.I trouble shoot. It says to descale. So I do. No leaking what so ever throughout the descale process.I think, ok. I am in the clear, and do not need a new machine.Today, I go to make my coffee and it's leaking again. So now, I am at a crossroads. I dont know if its a bad batch of coffee pods, or my machine!!The only thing that is different is the pods. So later today I will make coffee with decaf pods, and we will see if it leaks. If it does I will need a new machine. If it does not, then its the silver pods.I really hope it's not the silver pods. I love this coffee, and I can't find a replacement for even close to the same price.

Tastes the best
I’ve tried other decaffeinated coffees for the nespresso but these fit my machine and taste the best.

changed decaf
I have been ordering this decaf for years and been happy with it. This past order, the taste of the decaf is different. Burnt, sour, not drinkable. The excellent folks in their customer service said the batch was sub-par perhaps. (I got the same e-mail as an other customer who recently wrote a review.) I'm not sure if I should look elsewhere; it seems they just changed the coffee and the packaging is different too. But I'm leaving 5 stars because the company made my refund so easy.

Functional espresso; very good value. Clever pod design.
I have been in the nespresso universe over a decade and in the last year or so started experimenting with compatible brands. As a basis of comparison, I would first like to say that I think nespresso can produce a decent cup of espresso but not particularly great one. I use it in large part because its also really convenient compared to a traditional style espresso maker. Originally, years ago, the original capital investment seemed more tenable for the machine, than a traditional pump type espresso machine. From this perspective, I would say that my experience with compatible brands of coffee pods has been satisfactory: I think one can save a lot of money on coffee pods and get equivalent quality coffee. I don't think I have found 'better' coffee than the nespresso brand of the 4 or so brands I have tried. This Bestpresso Arabica fits that mold. The strength and flavor reminds me of a nespresso Capriccio, which I would also score a 3-3.5 star for flavor. I am impressed with the packaging that I think may help to keep the coffee fresher. Bestpresso have bundled 2 packs of 10 pods in a box; the pods are in a sealed polyethylene pouch. You are greeted with that wonderful aroma of fresh ground coffee when you crack open a bag. Of course, on the down side, to get this great price, you have had to buy 6 boxes at once (120 pods). You had better like it enough, because in general, there are no returns permitted. I would have like to award them 3.5 stars.I note that some people complain that the plastic pods do work in the machines. Well, I would say it's at least a functional espresso and there is a pretty good chance I will buy it again (at this price).A thought about reviewers who have had trouble with plastic pods. I have personally never experienced that problem at home; I did have some issues with our nespresso unit at work with nespresso's own aluminum pods. For a period the machine seemed to frequently fail to puncture the foil face. The pod would crush and become unusable. The problem seemed to go away on its own. That machines little machine made dozens of coffees a day (our office manager reported we were spending more than $1000/month on nespresso pods before the pandemic; that like 5-6 dozen a day). This is to say, that I think the problem of the plastic pods not puncturing easily, is a function of several factors, including the age and condition of the reviewer's machine.Update: I have examined the pods more closely. The pods are a rigid I think polyethylene or Polypropylene resin construction. They have designed the pods specially to collapse in specific way to push the bottom in thus exposing three pin-hole sized entrance points for the pressurized water. They do not rely on the nespresso machine's own pins to penetrate the pods. See attached photos. Quite clever.Full disclosure, to pick the flavor, since this was the first time trying this brand, the color of the pods played as much as role, as did the price, other reviews, and availability!Additional note: I have not experienced pod fit problems on neither my home nor office machines, unlike some other reviewers have complained about. I do not have the Essenza machine however.Update November 2020: They have changed the pod construction to one having a foil bottom (probably easier to puncture). For what its worth, the boxing of pods has changed as well, tho dimensionally about the same size boxes as before.

Great for the price.
Not as full flavoured as original but very good considering the price difference. Would buy again.

I stopped buying Nespresso coffee pods.
This is my second order and again this works perfectly in my Pixie Nespresso machine. I tried the Arabica first, then bought the higher intensity Columbia. They were both excellent. Arabica for those who prefer milder coffee and Columbia for those who prefer stronger coffee. I read online that Nespresso pods are made by Bestpresso. It makes one wonder why Nespresso is double the price.UPDATE: Unlike the 2 other flavours I previously bought, I had problems with the Brazil flavour which, I believe, has a much finer ground, making it difficult for the water to go through. I thought it was my machine but then I tried it with the Columbia flavour I still have and no problem with that. Thanks to Amazon.ca excellent Customer Service, I was refunded and didn't have the hassle of having to return it. I ordered the Variety Pack this time and hope I don't encounter the same problem.

Coffee doesn’t flow out constantly.
The taste is good but when you insert a capsule and start the machine, the coffee comes out normally just for a few seconds and then it only drips until the end. I have tried many other brands before and never had this issue. Not very satisfied.
