Works with 6 gallon gas can
I installed this buyers gas can rack on my pressure washing skid. The Midwest Can 6 gallon gas can available at Menard's fits into the bracket perfectly.

Excellent quality. Worked with my gas tanks.
I bolted mine to my trailer shelf I ordered thru Amazon. I bought two and both fit. You will need to drill into the shelf to bolt it down. I'll build a metal sun screen for them later. Figure out a way to lock your tank caps or someone can siphon your gas out. I bought red flat caps from Amazon and will put U bolts thru the cap with gas rated O rings and flat washers to seal it. Then you just have to come up with a design to stop someone from turning the cap off. Gas costs as much as the container. It's a universal shelf, don't get caught up on it not fitting perfect. Grab a drill and drill bit and put the holes where you need them. Buy some longer bolts and make the shelf do what you want it to do. It's a blank shelf, get creative.

Slick - I like them!
I welded frames to the front of my trailer to attach these to. I already had compatible gas cans and they fit and lock in perfectly. Securety-wise, these could be defeated provided the thief had the right tools and over an hour to work at it but they are definitely not casually walking by in a parking lot and snatching your cans. They have a nice semi-gloss black finish and the provided hardware and locks are nice quality. The bolts are socket head capscrews that take an Allen wrench or hex-driver socket which I believe in combination with the nylon lock-nuts, is a security feature as the capscrews are nearly impossible to reach with an allen wrench with a gas can in place.

Protects against theft
I welded Angel iron off the left ( drivers side) front of my trailer to mount my diesel can on so it’s out of the way of my kubota/ equipment and easy to fill at the gas/ diesel pumps

Works Great!
I really like this gas can rack/holder. It holds the gas can very securely and is very well built. I also like the fact that you have the option of locking it up. I mounted it on the top rail of my trailer that I use to haul my lawnmowers. Much better than hauling the gas can around in the back of my truck. It comes with mounting screws and a lock. I have only had it for a few days so I can not comment on how well it will hold up to the weather and use. Although it is a little on the expensive side I will more than likely buy another one to mount on the other side of my trailer to hold my mix gas.Update on review:I just purchased a second one of these to hold an additional gas can. This time however I also had to purchasea new gas can. (I already had a gas can before buying the first mounting bracket.) I could not find a gas can that would fit properly into the new holder/bracket. Even the newer style cans that look like the old style Blitz cans would not fit. The older style cans seem to be the only ones that fit. Luckly a co-Worker of mine had an older style Blitz can that he was willing to let me have. So if you have an older style gas can this holder will work great for you however if you do not have the older style can I would try to find something different.

Well made and made in USA
These are a little spendy, but you won't have to buy another one, they do not wear out. Well made and fabricated in the USA (for a change). These were a replacement for 2 older Buyer's gas can holders, about 10-12 years old, the only reason I had to replace them was the gas cans wore out and the new gas cans don't fit the older model holders.Update: I use a thin foam pad on the bottom of the carrier and strap the can down with a heavy duty rubber strap; the full gas can will jump around on even a semi-rough road. Still earns 5 stars.

Excellent
This was exactly what I needed: an extra 5 gallons of gas for when I go overlanding. The rack fits a standard 5-gallon spare gas tank (but NOT a Jerry can) and comes with a lock to secure it in place. I order this gas tank here on Amazon and it fits like a glove!No-Spill 1450 5-Gallon Poly Gas Can (CARB Compliant): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000W9JN4S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The mount is a little on the expensive side, and I ended up adding plastic gaskets to the holes for the locking pin to keep it from rat-tat-tattling on the back of my Jeep (which are the only reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars). But there is also no denying that it is a solid piece of metal fabrication and extremely sturdy.
