Easy install, looks factory.
My stock antenna on my 2011 Spyder RT had broken off. This was ridiculously easy to install, fit and finish looks like factory original.

2013 CanAm Spyder RT Limited. GREAT FIT
Works better that original antenna. Better reception and more stations. Looks and fits great and is not in the way like big factory whip.

Good but not great
Replaced long factory antenna with this stubby one when I added a tour pak to my 2016 Road Glide. All the main local channels came in relatively well. A few of the outlying stations that I used to listen to weren't able to be picked up unless I was out in the open. For the price and ease of install it's not a bad buy. Short of getting a powered antenna, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Not that hard to install
I watched a couple videos and thought some folks made this look hard to install. I did not find that. I found it easy to install following the instruction by MartinThe Vlogger the Can Am Guy. His instructions were perfect and easy to follow. I was also able to use the rubber factory base which keeps it looking professional

It's stubby and it works - kinda
Edit 09/06/17:Went back the to stock antenna. I pulled off the top protector cap, snipped 12" off the top, and put the cap back on. Driving around with the stubby proved to be a disappointment. Stations that I normally receive were often marginal at best. Shortening the stock antenna has proven to be the best compromise between annoyance and reception.Tired of stabbing myself in the garage or tucking/untucking the tip under the top box lid. Used to replace stock antenna on 2017 Indian Roadmaster. While length-wise it seems to be a big improvement, not sure about aesthetically. Installation was simple enough: position stock antenna to horizontal and use a wrench to remove. replace with new antenna, keeping the stock rubber piece that sets the angle (although it's not required - and should be left off if you want to set it to a 90 instead of 45). The bolt that came with the new antenna fit perfectly. Entire process was about 5 minutes - three of which was looking for the wrench. Reception seems to be the same, but I can't really tell as the stations I listen to are fairly strong in my area. Just a side note: I am wondering if I should have just trimmed the stock antenna to desired length. The cap is removable and it is a standard whip antenna. I'll do that and edit my review later.
