Does NOT fit a Toyota Camry 2008 without the push button passive entry.
I checked various auto part stores and they all came back with this Dorman 79806 part number for the left front (driver`s) door outside handle of a 2008 Toyota Camry without the smart entry, Even the Amazon make sure it fits section is wrong, I know its NOT Amazon`s fault, Amazon just sales stuff for stores that are supposed to have the correct application descriptions. After disassembling the door to install, I realized it does not fit, It looks like the one I need on the front, but the rear section where is supposed to slide into the handle frame is different. After visiting the Dorman website and entering the vehicle`s description, it comes back with a 80355 part number. I called the local Toyota dealer, its the same price and it comes color match painted already, a plus from the Dorman unpainted one.

Did not fit 2012 camry
This part would not fit a 2012 Toyota camry. It is very similar but did not work. It was past the return date so I was unable to return item.

Worst purchase ever it did not fit too much time to try to send it back it was awful awful donated it to goodwill
