It fits them well and does not seem to rub and allows them to move their arms freely. **Q: what child's weight is this life jacket for?** A: My daughter is 4”5’ & 100lbs & it fits her fine. It does ride up on her neck though. **Q: Can you add a croch strap? Does it have what they call a D ring?** A: There is no D-ring on this life jacket. I am sure if you want to you can probably make a strap yourself but not sure how helpful it will be **Q: Would this jacket fit a 14 yr old thats 105 lb?** A: It may. We bought it for our 7 year old daughter and it fit her just perfectly. You could try it because the weight does go up to 125lbs.
