These things are LOUD and exactly what you want!
Install was easy. Don't buy these things and expect your going to install these in a Mini Cooper! You need room for the 3 gallon tank. The horns as well. With that said, if you have the real estate these things kick some serious ..S! Love them. Totally worth the moneh. I was sceptical when buying these. I'm so glad I did. I mounted this in a K1500 pickup. I mounted the tank and the compressor in the bed of the truck. I didn't want to mount underneath the bed due to moisture and being too far from the battery. I don't use the bed and I have an even better excuse not to move any of my friends! Seriously, these things are going to get me a ticket! They are perfect. Don'ts spend any more money that 250 bucks on horns. This is what you want. Feel free to ask me questions. I agree with other comments about the length of the air line. They could have spared double the distance for almost nothing. 6' is touch I can imagine in most installs. All the hardware that came with the kit was good. I purchased a relay but that's all I needed and preferred to do other than what they provided. A relay is a must honestly if you want to do this correctly.

Well worth all the trouble
The air line they send is junk and most hardware is junk. I had to tap one thread and buy new air line and some fittings. Once that was out of the way the horns sound and look amazing. Well worth the purchase price and even for all the trouble on replacing fitting and air line its still a recommended purchase.

Good value.
My buddy installed one of these on a jeep about a year ago, no problems.I just installed mine. It comes with everything you need. After the initial fill it fills up the tank pretty quick. Horns are loud also.

2016 Toyota 4Runner: LOVE HOW LOUD!!
I installed this on my 2016 Toyota 4Runner about a week ago and I love them! Mounting was a little more difficult than I expected, but not too hard overall. I ended up mounting the air tank and compressor on an old hard plastic cutting board in the rear cargo area which was perfect because it not only avoided drilling holes into the interior but also made the system modular and removable with just one wrench to take off the air line. The kit came with about 5-6 feet of air line which was no where near enough to run from the trunk to the grill where I mounted the trumpets, but thankfully one trip to NAPA and I was able to get 20 feet for only 20$. I also bought three 90 degree connectors in order to face the airline downward instead of straight out, the pressure gauge outward to read easier, and I also put one on the compressor inlet to help keep the overall size of the system smaller. The air tank has a pressure sensor ground disconnect to stop the compressor when the tank is full, but still I decided to place a kill switch between the battery and the compressor in order to have complete control of when the system can charge. The compressor is quite loud, but it only takes about 5-7 minutes to charge the tank, so turning up the radio while it's running or just letting it run while I pump gas solves the noise issue inside. It is not obnoxious enough for other people outside of the vehicle to notice it's running. The horns are LOUD!! My only gripe is the tone of the horns are a little higher than I wanted but for what it's worth the intention of installing this is to get others attention which this absolutely will!! I suggest that you include about an extra 50$ to the total price for switches, wire, extra air line, and any fittings that you may want to install on the system. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because of those items I had to purchase in order to install it properly. I don't think the kit comes with enough air line to install it in anything except for maybe putting the entire system, trumpets and all, in the bed of a truck. Worth the money!!Update: I have attached an air hose to this so now I can fill up my tires after hitting some trails 😁

Only bad experience I've had with an Amazon purchase
I have purchased three train horn kits in the past and have always had a ton of success. I have them professionally installed and never attempt to do anything myself.Upon unboxing these horns, I instantly noticed a crack in the brass gauge. To avoid the hassle of returning, I purchased another one at my own expense. It was inexpensive. Not a problem. After installation, I tried the horns out. After a couple days, they started to sound worse and worse. I reached out to HookedOnTronics. They said they would send me a new horn if I would send them back. I told them that I would not pay to have the horns removed and then pay more a different to have new ones put on. They refused to comply. I hung up. After hanging up, the lady immediately called me back and told me they would comply with my request. I received the new horns and they work great.Fast forward a week. The compressor turns on 8 times for 2 second intervals in 60 seconds. Two of the fittings are starting to leak really bad and are getting worse. Not the fittings that are supplied that require teflon. The fittings that are permanently installed/welded to the compressor. In other words, the female adapters are leaking around where they touch the metal. I reached out to HookedOnTronics. They said if I sent the whole kit back to them, they would send a replacement. I again said that I shouldn't have to pay more to have the new kit put in a different time than when the old kit is taking out. I offered to provide them with a credit card to charge if they didn't receive the old kit. They will not do anything without receiving the old kit. I refuse to send the old kit until the new kit is received. I will have to pay the installer more to have them done at separate times. The train horns sound great. They are a little high pitched but are a great kit for the value. If you get the 2 out of 3 kits that work great, I would recommend purchasing these kits to anybody any day but working with HookedOnTronics has been a nightmare. Though it sounds ridiculous, I want to throw the entire kit in the garbage.
