This Peakworks Roof Anchor Bracket is designed for use as a reusable anchorage connector. It’s adjustable to any roof pitch and can be easily installed. Forged steel D-Ring coupled with two steel metal plates and red, corrosion resistant paint ensures its long-lasting usability for roofing jobs. It provides a 310 lbs. (140 kg) capacity for one worker, including the combined weight of the person plus their tools, clothing, etc. It’s operating temperature range is -35º C to +35º C. Review: Very high-quality and heavy duty. - As a 62-year-old, climbing around on roofs is not as comfortable as it once was. When I decided to put the metal roofing on the barbecue shack, I was constructing, considering the pitch of the roof. I knew there was no way I was going to get up there without some kind of a safety harness. Harnesses are basically all the same, and are only as good as the anchors they are anchored to these plates worked flawlessly, and I had all the confidence I needed to work on that roof with no fear of falling.

**Q: Can I leave it on the roof? 
It says temporary but I would like to leave it on my ridge, why is iy labeled temp?**
A: If its out in the weather it could rust. Not a problem immediately but you wouldnt want to go up several years later assuming it is structurally sound and find out the hard way (failure) that corrosion has made it unsafe.

**Q: Can I go down front of garage instead of side?  I want to install motion light on the front of my garage which is 20 ft up.**
A: Depends on how much you weigh...  I'm a 200+ fellow and I would trust it if it was secured properly.

**Q: Does this have to be installed on the ridge vent or it can be installed on any flat area on the roof?**
A: First matter to be clear, this is NOT a finished roof anchor! Secondly my question to you is, what is your intention of using this roof anchor? To actually preserve a life, or the appearance of following an OSHA ordinance. The roof anchor can be placed just about anywhere. If you plan on putting it out in the middle of a sheet of plywood, you better have 32 screws. (16 for each side) I highly recommend reading local and state regulations. Personally when I use these for fall protection I put 6 screws in each side into rafters on bare plywood or roof to be torn off.

**Q: Can this be used on a standing seam metal roof?**
A: As long as it is screwed securely according to the instructions provided. It's meant to be a temporary anchor. There are other products made for permanent anchors.

Easy to rig up and worth the money. I tested this rig with my 150lbs and it safe for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Doesn't include screws, unfortunately

The only way in which this is not perfect is that it doesn't include any (much less appropriate) screws. I knew that from the product description and easily found acceptable screws, but the product would probably make an even better impression if it were a complete kit. The strap and D-rings are very strong. Make sure you screw it down to a **rafter**, not just the roof sheathing/decking!! I used Amazon's "Black Head 25 PCS #10x4" Stainless Steel Phillips Pan Head Wood Screws" (item B0CDKRH49F) to attach this bracket. With both the bracket and the screws being stainless there should be no galvanic corrosive action between the two metals leading to failure. These #10 screws are also the "fattest" screw I could fit through the holes in the bracket. I wish I could have found a 5 or even 5.5 inch #10 stainless screw, but with eight 4" screws in each bracket I would probably need my tied-in elephant to fall off the roof for the system to fail. [ Please note: no elephants were harmed in the installation and testing of this fall-arrest system! ]
