Uniden 40-Channel CB Radio PRO505XL

Many requests to correct this listing fell on deaf ears, even with Customer Service (refused to entertain any complaint without order number) ! "Report Incorrect Information" is always ignored. So gambled and ordered, but sellers called up to confirm. There is another separate listing for the real PRO505XL !Coming to the device itself, it is a hand-held CB radio, quite simple and somewhat old-model. But reception and transmission are clear, though range with the short 'ducky' antenna not tested yet. External antenna, preferably magnet-mount, is advised, if used inside car.Minimum controls and features are provided. Was disappointed to find no ROGER BEEP, and only car charger, no mains charger to keep 9 AA cells topped up at home. Also, the power HI-LO switch and the battery-type switch are very small, difficult to operate by male adults -- only ladies' fingers, or tip of pen to be used !Good value for money, and delivery within schedule are the plus points.

Handy and portable. I use it in a dump truck. The radio that is in the truck is junk.The rubber duck antenna is like all rubber duck antennas, suboptimal. A BNC to PL258 adapter would add range of I attached to the antenna on the truck. I don’t bother as I’m only talking to the loader operator 15 feet away.73 DE KD8MSS

Great purchase.Price is good.Only had it for a weeks and have picked up a few CB users in my area.

軽量で音質も良く、感度も良い。送信は実験でダミーロード接続し使っただけなので現実的ではないですが、変調も深くて良い。国内で使えないのが残念です。ちょっと実験で使っただけなのですでに手放しました。

This Radio works very well and has strong transmission. Would recommend this to anyone.
