I’ve been using this to monitor temps on the stovepipe of a wood burning stove. It really helps in keeping the fire burning in a proper temp range clean chimney. It’s rather chintzy, but it works. Material is low grade but it works well and is pretty accurate. Easy enough to use, it’s magnetic so just stick it on the stovepipe and monitor the temps. A bit of advice would be to ensure the thermometer is placed high enough above the stove itself to ensure it doesn’t melt. For me the sweet spot was on the stove pipe about 6-8 inches from the top of the stove.

Didn't last 1.5 months, temp just redlines at 600. Worked for a few weeks, it was not placed directly over the firebox or anything either- but you get what you pay for. Will buy a pricier option

Never knew how hot the pellet stove was well its around over 500 degrees. Quick shipping no damage and works. Good seller

Je l'ai depuis plus d'un an : il tient très bien sur mon tuyau de poêle à bois, il est bien lisible de loin, et il me semble fiable. Le gros avantage d'un tel thermomètre est évidemment qu'on peut mieux contrôler la température de combustion du bois et minimiser les émissions polluantes et baisser la consommation de bois.
