Pre Filter Cartridge has to be replaced at every 3-4 months, and internal filters has to be replaced at every 20,000L or 1 year. (it is a standard timings, filtration life and replacement also depends over usage and water quality)

Can It installed by self or unauthorized Technician?

No, Insure you must get installation from Authorized Technician to Avoid any type of leakages, Technical Failure and After Installation Issues.

Does it need continuous electricity, or does it work during power cuts?

Yes, While Purification it requires active Electricity and Water Connections, You can still Dispense the water if there is not Electricity.
